Games you refuse to play.

Any MMORPG is on my blacklist.
I'm inclined to agree with geewizz for different reasons.

When Star Wars Galaxies went down and hackers reverse engineered the original version to run on custom servers. I tried it out and I have to say, it's by far the best mmorpg I've ever played and I don't enjoy playing it. The turn based combat lags behind a few seconds, the combat itself is very contrived and confusing, it is turn based but it comes off as real time (and they switched it entirely to real time when they made the "new game enhancement") and the elements that I liked about it I wished I saw in singleplayer rpgs.

Like the role I enjoyed the most in the game was as an Ithorian Musician who roamed around different planets playing music to travelers. As much as I liked doing that, no other players cared about that and only stayed inside Cantinas to grind. To top it all off there was a huge world to explore on each planet but apart from wanting a house and engaging in raids there's extremely few reasons to just explore the overworld.

I should finally get around to jumping on those custom servers. I bought the game retail, back when games were on CDs, in like middle school. I never got far, but I still miss that game.

DEFCOИ

I have two copies of this game. It's not a bad game by any means. But it's tragedy porn. It's absolutely sickening. It won't let you stop feeling horrible for as long as you're playing it. The music and the ambience, the graphics, everything there seems to be designed to suggest that as long as you are playing, you are losing. The world ends and it's your fault. I can't handle it. It's horribly depressing.

(intercontinental ballistic missiles are launched at about 4:30 in the video)
(I chose this video instead of two others because this one mercifully does not contain any of the random ambient sounds like people coughing or a woman crying - they really make me want to just... stop)

I don't like Pokemon.

I'm sorry. I just.....don't like Pokemon. At all. Not even a little. I have zero interest in any aspect of it.

I would definitely have to say Command and Conquer 4, as I made the horrible mistake of buying during a steam sale despite knowing fully about it. Reviews do not do it justice just playing through that...........Thing was a slog and waste of a week. I just wish I could fully deleted from my steam libary, rather than just have it uninstalled as it currently is.

Of other note is Janes Advanced Strike Fighter, a flight arcade sim LOOSELY similiar to Ace Combat, I played through it all and it was somewhat ok with bad and good missions. I beat the game and my SAVE got corrupted somehow(it constantly crashed too that was soooo great.) and I had to start from the begnning all over again negating 2 weeks of progress. I returned that shit back so quick to gamestop.

Any mobile gacha shit.
Will never play Little Devil Inside out of principle despite looking forward to it for over 5 years. If you're a kickstarter dev and take peoples money while promising your game will come out at the same time on every platform only to then take money from a publisher for timed exclusivity you deserve to crash and burn.
