How do I stop hating all the fetch questing in DA:I? it put me off playing at launch, then 360 didn't get the DLC and I'm getting ready to pick it up again on modern gen. Is the non 360/ps3 version actually good enough that I don't have to dread playing this to complete my entire dragon age playthrough? To it's credit I remember it running like fucking shit on 360 and making my console hot as lava.MTG, DA:I while fetch-questing (I can do most of it half asleep)
What platform are you playing on? I've played DA:I 3 times and never completed it because when my Char gets to max level I get bored as fuck that killing shit in an RPG means nothing (no more xp).How do I stop hating all the fetch questing in DA:I? it put me off playing at launch, then 360 didn't get the DLC and I'm getting ready to pick it up again on modern gen. In that case I highly recommend this one:4X games, especially older ones I have played since childhood so its kind of a comforting well-wrong gameplay loop. My ability to go into something like the older Civs, Alpha Centauri, Master of Orion etc when I just need to turn off for awhile can actually be a good down time between busy periods.
I did the same, I mostly played with Scenario Editors. Can't really do this anymore because my time to play games is extremely limited, when I was young it was countless hours in the Age of Empires II, Zoo Tycoon 2, and Sim City 4.
Ironically, most of my time in AOEII wasn't playing the actual game but making countless custom levels all with either fine-detailed levels or scripted sequences complete with story. Unfortunately all of these were lost to time and I've never really had the itch to create levels like I did when I was a kid with unlimited imagination and no job.
