Gears of War - More like TEARS OF WAR

Gears of War Reloaded comes to PlayStation in 2025. Will cost 40 dollars and you dont need an microsoft account for the singleplayer or online. Its a bit sad to see Xbox go, but what can you do when the company started to give away their games for peanuts on gamepass, and are run by people like lying Phil and a woke black woman. RIP Xbox.

I replayed through them all recently. 1 and 2 are fantastic, 3 I think has some good bits but the Lambent are an ass faction to fight. 4 is not good, 5 very weirdly is. It's not Gears, it's way more science fictiony; but the controls and gunplay are right, the enemies are fun to fight and all the weapons feel punchy. Story is not great and the mech segment sucks dick; but the set piece battles are really good.

Just got Judgement and Tactics to get through.

Also there's a card game which is weirdly good.

I didn't like the sequels all that much, but Gears 1 multiplayer is some of my favorite gaming memories ever. I put hundreds of hours into that with my friends back in the day. I wasn't really playing any vidya when the UE came out so I totally missed out on that one.

40 bucks ain't too bad, if the launch isn't a disaster I'll probably pick it up shortly after. Cool that I can play it on PS5 to, especially since it has crossplay.

Gears Of War Reloaded PS5 physical is coming. The "We rent everything and own nothing crowd" is probably clinching their fists at this :story:

Gears fan is upset they are ineligible for a free voucher of Gears: Reloaded since they have a physical Ultimate Edition copy, not a digital copy. To address that point, don't quote me on this, but a physical copy may harder to verify compared to a digital purchase. What would stop somebody from obtaining Gears UE for cheap and then get a free game? Also, he's misunderstanding Smart Delivery. The Ultimate Edition is a different build/game from Gears: Reloaded. He's basically asking for a free game because he physically owned an older version.

Codes for Gears: Reloaded have gone out to UE owners yesterday, even for those who owned a physical copy in some cases. Reportedly, some people have only played it through Game Pass and are receiving codes as well. I've yet to get one likely since I apply in the latter camp but I've played UE.

There's two weekend betas happening for Reloaded through either pre-ordering the title, being a Game Pass Ultimate member or the codes.
