A little late and slightly off topic but the Slayers 30th Anniversary concert that was mentioned here sometime in March is now available on DVD. I don't speak Moon Rune so I'm not sure on the details but it seems like the original voice actress for Lina did a live 3d concert as Lina and some kind of interview where she pretends to be a vtuber. Thought you guys might find it interesting.

I'm sorry, but there's no way in hell that's Megumi Hayashibara. Did they change Lina's seiyuu?

As above, I'm using ytc but always up to get more and better translations. Does LiveTL just grab stuff with the EN translation tag, or more to it? Wondering if it is time to expand my resources.
LiveTL pulls messages in two ways:
1) From chat directly, based on [EN] or similar tagging, just like you would with ytcFilter, but also
2) From a third-party tool called MChad. Live translators can submit their translations to both chat and MChad at the same time.

The MChad translations have a few benefits:
- Only translators who have established themselves are invited to use it, so they're a little more trustworthy (though I'd never advise trusting any one translator completely)
- In larger chats, Youtube can sometimes miss messages, including those from translators, whereas MChad only handles translation messages so it doesn't have to contend with the sheer volume and won't miss any
- Translators can go back and add MChad translations to existing videos, or edit their own translations that they did live so that they're more accurate with afterthought (not sure how common it actually is)

LiveTL also has a mode where you can put the video fullscreen and it'll put TL messages on the video like subtitles, but I don't personally like that.

Hologirls with pokemon has to be one of my new favorite things.

I was watching some clip of Kson playing block game (or a mod anyway, didn't seem vanilla) with cannur, mouse, and mel I think and when I was looking at the comments someone was gushing about how it was so great to see Kson collabing with them and she is much better there and fits right in with the VS girls.
As a Kson fan, I find the reactions to stream really interesting. Personally I think it was terrible, Kson was horribly awkward the entire time and had zero chemistry with anyone there. One of the main talents she has as a streamer is that she's really good at banter, both with the chat (and superchatters) and guests in collabs, and the Vshojo collab had none of that at all. Instead it was basically just Connor and some other girl talking to each other, then Kson would interject with a comment, someone would chuckle at it, then Connor and friend go back to talking about Minecraft. For three hours. And then it ended on a whimper when Connor and his friend fucked off and Kson was basically just walking around lost and alone and then decided to end the stream.

But given that this was one of Kson's first English-only streams in her career, and the first on her Youtube channel, so it was many English-only speakers' introduction to her, and it was massively hyped, and it sucked, I was expecting people's reception to it to be something like "what's so special about this bitch that was boring", but instead it's one of her most commented Youtube videos and nearly every one is so excited about it. It's like people seem to like the idea that the collab happened rather than whether or not it was good. Or maybe Vshojo streams are always that lame and her presence actually improved it (haha).

Selen and Rosemi are playing Rainbow 6 Siege. Rosemi has a lot of experience with the game and Selen is Selen so it should be a fun stream.

All the sources I could find credit her as the voice. It's been over 25 years since she first voiced the character, it's possible that her voice has changed. Either that or she sang the songs at the concert and someone else plays the "vtuber".

huh...
I was going to go for the whole vampire loli lore. That said I still stand by my point, her eyes are pretty generic.

Wish more people would post timestamps on PC videos. Trying to find "rage" moments and its pretty hard to get 1 or 2 moments out of a 3-hour video.

I have the ytcfilter chrome extension installed and it pulls anything in the live chat with the [EN] tag out so I can see the translators. Does the discord bot do something more than that? I'm on a few discord servers for specific HL members, but wondering if this is on one of the generic HL discords? Since there's no "official" one sometimes it is hard to figure out which one people are talking about.

The Holo Discord server I'm talking about (and always talk about) is the massive one with over 129k people. And after talking to someone there, it's about just the same type of stuff.

I'd say she's bi, she speaks about girls like Ame in a way that makes her seem legit crushing on her... Maybe her current preference for women has to do with all her negative experiences with men (from absent father to the wrestling incident and to abusive ex-boyfriend). But at the end of the day, her sexuality is something private to her that only she knows and has the right to not clarify.
There really is no need to come up with reasons. She's outright stated a few times she likes girls. We may not be 100% sure what the specifics are for preferences and reasons but we could still speculate and that's fine tbh, not hurting anyone.

That, and the fact that Melody, her suppose collab partner fuck off to spawn point or get lost for most of the time and stay mostly quiet, and the stream become Ironmouse and Connor stream with Kson happen to tag along. By the time Kson is alone with Melody again, she's practically ready to end the stream. She have no chemistry with the group dynamic of Vshojo at all and really feel like a guest to their server. As a Kson fan to another, yeah the collab is bad, hurting me even (heh)

That was a excellent move coming from the rat because the VN format allow her to have entire conversations without being interrupted

Muh favorite just because she try hard

Smart rrat. This is her showcasing her voice range for future gigs. Though that art had to be commissioned (and paid for) by herself. This is how you invest in your future.
Oh yeah, maybe I should've mentioned but yeah the voice acting is real great. A good wide vocal range and she's able to hit them well. I can tell the kind of people the characters are by the way they speak honestly.
