What's wrong with that? I'd rather have something that I find more enjoyment or emotional connection to due to my time invested, rather than have everything needing to elicit an emotional reaction from everyone.

Take One Piece as an example. If I told another person I was emotionally wrecked from seeing a ship start on fire, they'd wonder what is wrong with me. But if I tell a One Piece fan that the viking funeral of Going Merry had me crying like a bitch, everyone would know what I was talking about and question if I had a heart if I DIDN'T do that.

The need to find marketable 'moments' for EVERYONE is the kind of shit that will lead to the death of a hobby.

In other news, Council has officially been out for a month.


Collab ban is officially over. I expect we'll start seeing some collabs in the upcoming schedule releases.

I think it's more than that. For example vtuber clips have been making their way onto the front page of r/livestreamfail recently since Youtube added that clip feature, usually one every other day. Cutting out all the usual pedophile accusations and normies not getting vtubers, a lot of the people there just don't find the clips funny. And I have to agree, Gura effortlessly harmonizing with herself and Kronii getting stalked by Irys probably aren't kicking anyone down the vtuber rabbit hole. Yeah, there are a looooooooooot of community jokes about chuubas. If you show Amelia doing her gremlin antics people will get it just fine, but if you show her doing the screech people will just see an anime girl screaming like an angry dog toy and not understand anything at all!

There’s always that one clip or video of someone’s that gets you interested in their other content, and it can be different for everyone. Once you get attached to that person, you’ll find the content more enjoyable or funny because you’re a fan of that particular person.

You just need to see that one clip that makes you think “huh, I wonder what else they’ve done…”

I'm only even here because I googled some random stuff and found my way to a clip, then YouTube fucking showered me with HoloEN clips and here we are. Clips can be great hooks to chuuba numbers. This is why Cover won't go after most clippers that aren't Poka-tier retarded and malicious, they are doing their own work for free!

There are plenty of normal, well adjusted people who like chuubas. The crowds in the live events with Amelia and Kiara are proof of this, lots of normal looking people on the crowd. Randos liking this stuff isn't a problem, you get retards liking stuff anyways and some of the worst fans are the deluded psychos who stalk chuubas and get furious at the thought of a young woman dating someone because how dare my favorite anime girl have a boyfriend!

People are mostly spamming Vtuber clips on r/livestreamfails because there was this one popular Twitch streamer whose name escapes me who had a meltdown and ranted about Vtubers. Also Gura openly talking about watching Forsen streams for Minecraft speedrunninh techniques, and people have noticed a pattern of that Gura tends to stream when Forsen isn't, leading people to meme that Gura =Forsen

Pippa is in a position where she has both the support of a company to back her up but enough room to do whatever the fuck she wants to do since she's their main girl and a very unique talent. It isn't even fair to compare her to Haachama (the other balls to the wall, fucking crazy chuuba) as they both have very different styles!

Top tier as always. Im really amazed and how terrible I am at predicting which girl I like and which one I don't really care enough to pay attention to. When Irys came out I didn't think I would care about her but her Minecraft streams are always entertaining and she kills it on karaoke and collabs.

For Gen 5, I thought I would pay attention to Polka yet Nene and Botan are my fav for that generation. For ID I thought I would watch Ollie yet i watch Reine more. Gen 4 Coco got hyped yet Watame and Towa are the ones I followed.

Guess Kroni has a lot more enthuasiam than I thought about being part of Hololive.

Listening to Irys sing and wondering how long until Holo En concert. Vaccine is available (sperg elsewhere) so travel shouldn't be a problem anymore. I can see Ame and Calli's lack of singing being a problem, but damn if I don't want Gura, Irys, and even Kiara on stage.
