I know we don't normally talk about things like this, but I find this interesting.

Gura is in raw numbers, highest in both Subs and Twitter Followers, but lowest in ratio for Followers per Subs.

Which can mean a lot of things:
1. She is mostly followed by people who don't usually use Twitter (children/SEA)
2. She's got the biggest portion of people that knows her from Youtube and only Youtube

Likely the latter.

If you look at the graph and segregate them into generations, the ones with the lowest subscribers on YouTube generally have the highest ratios (Sana, Aki, Mel, Iofi, Flare, Roboco) whilst the ones with the highest subs generally have the lowest ratios (Fubuki, Miko, Korone, Pekora, Coco, Moona, Gura, Kronii).

The sheer volume of Gura's subs just means that she can only have 30% of her subs translate to followers and still have more than anyone else. Given that she has 2m subs more than anyone else in her branch, it's safe to assume people are only aware of Gura and nothing else. I can vouch for this firsthand as my little siblings watch YT (usually PvZ vids, cringe MC concent creators, dumb shit for toddlers) and her Minecraft streams have pulled up on autoplay once or twice.

I mean Playism's Chinese PR side. Is the Winnie dick riding supposedly rogue statement still up or did they take it down? Have they mentioned the postponement to the Chinese or leaving them in the dark?

What are the chances they have to do two streams, one for the Chinese and one for normal people?

The PR statement for bugmen still up, which throw the whole damage control statement in EN and JP into the pile of shit. For now, they "postpone" the whole thing - basically cancelled at this point. And to think they could have use this chance to gracefully escape CN market and earn some nice bronies point and deep pocket tatsunoko Kson-gumi fanbase. Now all their goodwill is in the trash, all for nothing at all.

Doesn't Playism mostly do shit for Japanese gamers? Probably wasn't a good idea to piss off your Japanese consumers.

I wonder if there are alternative companies doing the same localization. If I was going to make an indie game, I'd probably not let Playism touch it if it meant burning good will on all future games.

I'd say that's mostly because she appeals to people who like memes, and hilariously the Taliban are probably the best meme posters on twatter.

Edit: Sana is likely doing well there because they think she's black, and don't know she's an Aussie.

This has gone way beyond mere thirst and has developed into a severe case of polydipsia. The chicken either needs to start dabbling in the local Austrian dating scene post haste or she needs to have Marine visit her with some cases of Gatorade, a helmet, and an assortment of heavy-duty machinery. Normally I would say she should be embarrassed, but I'm not sure she experiences the phenomenon known as 'shame'.

Yeah, they actually start to gain some recognition a few year back since they localize some high-profile indie games (a bit oxymoron). On the scale of things, they're relatively small, which is why their decision to double down on Chinese market even weirder. I wonder if this will lead to indies reluctant to work with them; especially since OMOCAT come out to clearly support Coco.

Nah, probably has more to do with him having really popular videos and yet no one in his new audience knowing who the fuck "nagz" is. He fucked up by not going by Nagz from the begining and just titling the videos "normie reviews" or w/e.
 
Does anyone know the origin stream of Rosemi's "I'm gonna freak it"? I tried a youtube search, but I haven't managed to find a clip.
