As a cosplayer myself that's like saying anthrax is a mild inconvenience. Like all female dominated hobbies, it's full of mental illness and drama. Actual discussion or appreciation of cosplay is rare and secondary to being a legbeard bitch.

Also /cgl/ knows about Kiki already and seethes about Vtubers constantly.

1 hour and 30 minutes into Lion King and she hasnt been able to clear the ostrich part.
And she is forced to keep going till she clears stage 2

Decided to try my hand at the fine art of clipping (mainly because of the Phase Connect thing). I don't know shit about editing videos but I can crop something, add a fade-in and fade-out effect. I think that's what most clippers do anyways (bare minimum) so I guess it's good enough. For anyone who never watched the stream, they basically went around different Minecraft servers burning and blowing shit up.

If you want advice for clipping, by all means and keep reading. If not, no worries. What helps with clippers for someone new is a unique typeset and font for subtitles. It's gets easier and faster the more you do it. For example, for Soju's he uses two colors for his subtitles. If you look at Soju's and depending on the software you use, you can track the subtitles to match the flow and movements of the vtuber, doesn't have to be crazy, just a little nudge. Here are three that are good, two Hololive and one Niji.

I'm always looking forward to more clippers of Phase Connect, thank you. It's smart of the company to make a reward system for clippers trying to find their lighting in a bottle, one of the reasons Hololive got so big was clippers/people subbing videos.

Two of them are similar to Soju's style and I'm not sure how Soju came up with their style

And the second level is the easiest because hell come after that

For those that dont know the dark lore, the devs of The Lion King for SNES made the first level a cakewalk but for the second level onwards is just a outright spiral of masochism, terrible game design and absolute hatred because the devs did not want kids to just rent the game for a weekend then return it

Unless she's having her expectations low, she isn't going to have a good time. And before she gets lucky and doesn't even experience any low performance or any server issues. I swear if this happens Imma feel salty. I'm over here playing the game having terrible server latency issues while streamers are having no issues at all. It's bullshit... I wonder if she'll try the Portal mode and play with viewers or members?

Still feels weird as I remember Nagzz doing many VRChat videos and now seeing him doing Vtuber videos is still strange. But he rubbed me the wrong way as at one point he constantly kept making the "I'll quit making VRCHAT videos", "I'll be quitting my Youtube Channel" videos which got annoying.

Yeah, but that's a subsection of the cosplay community. Her connecting with an old friend and getting asked/confronted about being Kiara is example of the word actually spreading instead of being pretty contained to internet shit. With cons actually coming back, her little funsie outing days with old con friend are probably going to be extremely rare and extremely strenuous when they do happen. Just an interesting thing to think about when you realize she's built her social circle on that and has made comments before about feeling alone.
