I've swam with reef sharks. They were skittish and did not really want to come near me.

Many aquariums have sections where you can pet sharks, stingrays, horseshoe crabs, etc.. Definitely an interesting experience. Aquatic life is very cool in general, unless it's in Australia. Then you're about 10 minutes away from a horrible death no matter where you go.

My wife went scuba diving in St Lucia, and she was followed by a barracuda and a few moray eels. Now me, I like the land. A bit harder to drown there.

You have a ton of better singers in hololive though, rapping was a thing that made her stick out from the whole scene really but I do think she might be the most overrated holo out there considering her bad attitude combined with questionable talent.
Anyway I'm not really a fan of this guy, he seems like a bit of an SJW-type that actually buys into this muh racism narrative that some people on twitter were spreading for a while now. At very least he believes that Karen sees "Black" Rap as inferior which is a bit of a stretch but honestly his reaction to Emo demon stuff was both hilarious and eye opening for me because I was actually under the impression Calli was a legit underground musician for the longest time. In reality she's more like a Fake Type groupie that got into the scene through animation rather than anything related to music where everything she done before hololive was amateur level cringy garbage. It makes perfect sense why people from the scene were cold to her and whatnot, it's not that they were jealous (as the simps claimed) as much as they just knew her real skill level. Pretty sure she's aware of it too, hence this obsession about luck both in her newest roommate songs and that TT collab.

I utterly despise rap and hip hop so I can't comment on good rap vs bad rap and have never watched any of Mori's stuff becuase I know I will hate it. I don't really care for her but just to play devils advocate:

1 ) Luck is 100% a factor in life. Kiara didn't go to Japan intending to become a vtuber, it was entirely due to covid. Covid also forced everyone indoors to be isolated and online for a year, a huge boost to the growth of hololive/vtubers. I'm pretty sure multiple girls had no prior streaming experience and they were hired by hololive anyway because friends recommended them. Luck is a factor.

2 ) Most girls are probably suffering with some form of imposter syndrome especially the more successful ones. Calli went from a literal who to mmost people to an e-celeb in less than a year. It doesn't help she knew nothing about vtubing or idols when she applied and isn't really a streamer but more interested in the music side of things and it shows.

3 ) Cover has an interview process, even if she didn't have much before hololive she obviously did something to impress them. Even going back to point 1 about girls lacking experience, they were still chosen despite this. There may be memes about Yagoo saving girls, but he is primarily a businessman and he won't save anyone by being bankrupt just accepting anyone. Rushia even showed he is willing to put his foot down and delete the existence of a person who fucked with the company.


Her music vids have a fuckton of views, if it was just Cover everyone would have those numbers. Even if I hate rap she must be doing something right.

My two cents on the Mori rap shit is this: If she stuck to English and didn't try to force Japanese (A langauage she still struggles to speak) into her work it would come across better. Instead we get this hodgepodge where her flow is compromised and her English lyrics come across as gibberish - even for a rap - because it has to take in account a second language. I get she likes Jap rap, but it doesn't work for her if she refuses to learn the fucking language.
