Just read through it which is handier than having to sit and listen to something for an extra hour for the info so I do appreciate your effort. Unfortunately didn't help me like her more haha

My issue wasn't because of her voice. I'm happy enough to listen to it with an uninteresting voice, hell, I've listened to Kronii streams lol It's more just her points were just getting too much.

It's certain points like her saying how she was sitting in front of the laptop telling herself she needed to be the one to talk to him but how she couldn't because of their fight but only SHE could get through to him...but then being willing to publicly shit on him on Twitter. It's just so... martyr-ish. Too much of it is just moving blame, doing the whole "I'm not even that big" or "I was scared for my life" neither of which I accept.

But yeah, interesting read. I shall now go back to my hags and leave this drama behind me after I seem to have kicked the hornets nest in here.

Enjoy some Gorilla Mio:

Fair enough glad my post was helpful regardless
Moona is still one of my favorite character arcs.

Don't remind me, I'm still pissed. They're just gonna excuse it by blaming Covid.

Edit: Scoots, that's not stopping like you said you were.
You are right i just wanted to make sure people know that I know connor is an idiot im done now

It's clear Connor had no fucking clue what Hololive was like before Covid. Look no further than talents like Aki and Mel and the bullshit they endured. While it's undeniable that the Hololive brand offers an initial bump post 2020. It is entirely up to the streamer to build on that initial bump and survive the shit YT throws their way or else they stagnant.

Anya, Kiara and Sana all come to mind about the Holobump and the different routes they took for their success. Kiara's early aggressive numberfagging stems entirely from YT fucking her over and her early life Idol failures. She didn't want to repeat that and as a result of keeping her nose to the pavement she managed to flout that early setback and kept up with her genmates. After a slow start, Anya has been increasing her numbers after not taking the same aggression Kiara had. As for Sana , she'll will have to decide soon what she wants to do with her Holo career. She has a strong core fanbase now and they aren't going anywhere, but if she wants to grow that she'll need to buckle down and work harder than the rest of Council.

tl:dr Connor's hot take was a filthy casual one and not to be taken too seriously (Impossible challenge)
You think anyone actually cares about the blood, sweat and tears necessary to make it big? No. No one cares how you made it; they only care that you did and that you don't deserve it

Why are you marking this as late. Its a different post than the one from earlier

And of course the bitch hires a shady lawyer. What's next simp assassins?

I just realized it could be read two different ways. I dont consider him a "know nothing, sheltered twat" simply because he knows how to build a channel/career. Is he ignorant about hololive, yes. Is he ignorant about building an online career, no. He was wrong saying they had no talent, not wrong in saying HL helps get people a bigger audience. Compare indie debut stream size (or the first HL generations) to HL/Niji debuts now.

HL/Niji can get you noticed, but its the streamer/talent that has to retain that attention.
Fair enough. I just see the bump as a trade-off for having to start over and passing the auditions.

To be fair, when Sana does stream, she still does pretty well. She got 4k viewers with her chill stream playing a pretty simple fan-game earlier. She had a string of bad IRL luck, one of which is probably still affecting her ability to do too much. Before her back issues, she did stream consistently after her return from her dog dying. Between the early break, and Susan fucking her hard, though, I don't really know how much effort she would be able to put in without seeing extreme diminishing returns. Like, it may have been changed or fixed after HL getting MCN status, but YT was really fucking her over early debut. She still have more twitter followers than YT followers. IIRC she is the only HL member where that is the case.

you get used to it (:_(
Ina recently came back with a small stream to keep people's spirits up, it isn't a full comeback but it's something. Meanwhile there are plenty of clips of her dorky goodness for you to enjoy, love me some Ina!
Speaking of vshitshow, they really don't like it if you bring up the whole Froot cheating thing in videos.

The company already has a reputation for incompetence and a lack of professionalism, not to mention the quality of their content to the point people instantly associate VShojo with low brow humour. And they are doing literally the worst thing possible with what on the perspective of many is just a rumour most fans don't know about, throwing lawsuits at random YouTubers. That's how you get to prop up shit people stopped talking about months ago, any plausible deniability that comes with ignoring the rumours is gone when you sue people for making content about them, fucking genius strategy!

And of course the bitch hires a shady lawyer. What's next simp assassins?
Why did she pick some random guy that got investigated by the FBI instead of almost any other Law Firm? You don't need a stellar, award winning lawyer to tackle cases like these, simply pick any guy worth his salt with a good market reputation instead of the shadiest fucker short of a Mob Lawyer?!

These girls make plenty of money from streaming, legal fees are expensive but they can easily afford a guy that could actually make their case stick. Unless, of course, she didn't get past the door in many of those places and this guy simply takes anything that comes in to get his own fees, win or lose!
Breath of Fire... MM Battle Network... and here I am still waiting for something related to Mega Man Legends 22 years later.
If you want a quick laugh, I must be the most bonkers Mega Man fan out there. To this day I was only able to get into Mega Man 8 and haven't touched any of the games from the X series, and with Battle Network I literally just watched the anime and didn't really get into the games lol!

Because of course she needed some bottom of the barrel lawyer. Any regular one would look at this and laugh her out the door. Your sex life is not copyrightable. Porn is, but she's not making porn. She's making sad veterans returning home to find his wife sucking off some guy while cosplaying as earthchan.

Ladies and gentleman. The Streissand effect on steroids

Technically that's an element of why certain Holo's are so well liked by their hardcore fanbases. For a majority of the watchers they probably don't care or don't know but to hardcore fans who've been around pre-2020 (or even during early 2020) the actual story and struggle of certain Holo's is what drew some people to really admire them. Ask any Hoshiyomi for example.

Is there anything more pathetic than suing a man over a video where someone criticized someone you employee. They can't even be upset about her face in the thumbnails because she's literally posted her face on her official Froot Twitter account. Vshojo is the gas station hot dog equivalent of VTuber companies.

So am I reading this right that the clowns representing VShojo are suing that guy over copyright infringement for using the VShojo logo as a way to sue the guy and get the videos taken down because they know there is no way in hell they could win a defamation suit?

Mumei: There is freedom in death, I guess.

no, mumei, we don't want another plague
