In pre-stream chat, one of the buckos mentioned PPP in a lame joke and both Ami and mods gently told him not to ruin the mood. Ami's mentioned having a rough last week too - it's pretty easy to connect the dots.
I agree that she felt a bit out of it. I think I remember her missing at least one supacha which usually never happens - she always puts extra care not to miss anyone.

Been watching Pippa, Sena, Ami (listening while driving, really), and occasionally Fauna but she hasn't been streaming as much either. Edit: Also Shiina, but she's on break atm as well.

I've been meaning to watch more Fauna (and Tenma) but haven't really been in the mood lately to watch someone play a video game (which is like 90% of their content, at least), which chisels my list down to Pippa (and Lia, I guess, though I haven't watched her much this past month).

I honestly think that all of Phase Connect is great. Pippa has really exploded in popularity due to talent and meme magic but all of them are worth a watch. The only ones that I wouldn't recommend for first time viewers would be Michiru, Nasa, and Iori as they mainly to only stream in Japanese.
The girls at Idol Corp have been really popping off too.
There's spider momma Ami who plays mostly older stuff.
I don't watch most of Lisa's streams because of everything else I got going on but she does do a cozy music review on her twitch channel that I like to catch when I can.

I've been not as active on the site as I have in the past so I missed this. What Tsunderia drama? I watched most of Ami's stream today and didn't notice anything different with her.

She's understandably in a delicate sort of headspace, I think. She was in really high spirits around Xmas/NYE and it feels like everything has rapidly gone off the rails in short order since then:
- the failure of her much-anticipated trip to MAGfest - she may feel she'll never have a chance to do this again as a vtuber, since she spilled the beans on it after her plans fell through
- the fact that Nen has been on break/inactive for what feels like forever due to family/personal stuff
- the departure of two Managers on the same day, with very little warning - one of them was Ami's manager, Rei, who had a big role in organizing Ami's Antstream collab event
- Tomo also announcing a two-week break just yesterday (the tweet is dated 1/23)
- the departure of Purin, also apparently with very little warning
This last part is maybe just me, but I felt a marked absence of the usual company solidarity / fan celebration stuff that I would have expected to see around NYE date range. It just felt eerily quiet to me. None of the fan works stuff that I was thinking would show up - you know, people making big videos/artwork and that sort of thing. If people made anything big like that, I didn't see or hear about it. The only possible exception I remember was a single Ami-related video that got discussed basically not at all in her section of the company server, and it came way too late to capture any of the new year energy. Just low engagement in general, although some of that may be due to all the big November Gen 3 Anniversary stuff. It's just a weird vibe. I'd love to be wrong about this, though - if anyone knows of recent notable TsunDream fan works, I'd be happy to know I'm just retarded.
Thank goodness no, it's not Asston. Completely different PPPerson - I was confused at first for the same reason.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if Ami is battling some anxiety at the moment - I get the feeling that she is, but she's holding it together. She seems really attached to streaming, and I think also to just being "Ami." Hopefully it'll help her to remember that all the departed Tsunderia talents came away with the ability to continue using the characters and associated IP.
