At least Getting Over It is incredibly blunt about what it does. Only Up! is so railroaded it doesn't even let you do obvious shortcuts by placing invisible walls around, apparently. Or let you not get permamently stuck in level geometry. Or not fall down to the very fucking start of the game while clipping through everything.

Pekora experienced all of the above.

Yeah that happened to Calli too, she'd jump at things and phase through them, the character wouldn't do the ledge grab where it had before, things wouldn't load in properly, and when she fell sometimes things would just inexplicably pinball her off into the void (where she'd bounce into invisible walls to stop her from recovering). It's also got this bit near the top (so in Calli's and Pekora's case 6-7 hours of playing the game) that if you don't know about it sends you all the way back to the bottom.

I don't like Jump King, Getting Over It, etc. but at least they're competently made. Hell, even those "Chilla's Art" or whatever games are more functional even if they do look like a turd. This though? One of the worst things I've seen trending on Steam. They should just boot up Far Cry / Far Cry 2 (and probably any of the others with custom maps) and play the community parkour maps, they'd be more competently made and the core controls would be less jank.

Based on her feet, hands and arms I doubt that. definitely out of shape (she can barely stand for 5min before passing out). but she apparently has to force herself to eat sometimes, which might be the only thing saving her from morbid obesity.
