Phasebeggars don't understand how phase operates. It doesn't matter how famous you are, you have to do your 9-24 month sentence in the basement like everyone else because Fishfag isn't going to change his plan for anyone if it means having to expand faster than planned. His insistence on expanding at a glacial rate and his stinginess is why the company is financially stable.

Examples of Phase being stubborn and autistic about cash flow:
>No real 3D live because Sakana thinks it they are a waste of money
>Invaders in the basement for so long that one even dropped out (it was never disclosed who left)
>Fans routinely wait 9 months for heinously overpriced flatpack merch delivered by the shittest post company on earth because Sakana hates distributors and chooses to negotiate directly with chinese manufacturers only to get ripped off
>No outfits for talent until you "earn it". Seniority doesn't matter
>High profit cut despite every other company bragging about their low cut.
>JP branch management was literally one guy and Iori translating everything for the first two years. Now it's one guy and one or two part-timers

A company like this is not something an ex vshojo would want unless they're ride or die

Here's some respite from the VRetirementHouse collapse, Lumi pretending to be from the fictional island of Britannia:
Wish she would do more of these LARPy streams. I loved her southern belle one.

Unsurprisingly Kson and Ironmouse are not unique. The unpaid wages are probably why everyone has left since and including Matara. How many millions do you think they owe?
How long did they go without paying? Like I get most may have a decent chunk of change, but working for more than a month without getting paid would have made me quit and go indie.

She does at least one a month, sometimes more. You can at least go through the streams where the thumbnail has her in silhouette.

I'm not entirely clear if the company hoovered up all of the superchat/membership/bits/ad revenue before passing it on to the talent, which wouldn't make sense if they aren't taking a cut, or if this is all about merch/sponsorship revenue not being paid out.

i think the latter, i forgot exactly who but i think Kson did mention that supas were given out, but anything involving VSJ like merch and other collaborations were not

-KSon, a current (former?) VShojo talent tweets she has reached out to, assumedly VShojo, and not gotten a response from "the ONE PERSON [she] want(s)"
I guess, even if jokingly, I predicted KSon was dipping. :story:

The real time implosion of VShojo has been hilarious to witness, also kind of saddening. I don't like a lot of their talents (Froot, Melody mostly.) but even despite my disdain, these chicks are owed their dues and 513k is not chump change to skim from something, let alone a charity, but I have no idea why the links weren't direct donations to the IDF charity rather than being handled by VShojo in assumption they'd just give it over.

I certainly have an eyebrow raised over Phase, but I can't really explain it, something's just not sitting right. But I imagine they'll snipe a few of the now former VShojo talents, they'd be insane not to I think.

Nijisanji's reputation is dead in the water and, I don't even remember the last time I heard about Hololive, is Hololive even still a thing?

So where is the connection between the picture and Moona? Everyone presents it as proof, but never say how it proves anything.
It looks like her (she streams as herself sometimes), the first brown to post it on /vt/ said it was her, and she once "asked" her fans about supporting your oshi's real-life love life if it means she's happy, and everyone took that as an esoteric confession. We can't DNA test the picture.

Relatedly, just noticed that Nimi did her lore dump on a Monday, which is her "bury the news" day. She never streams on Tuesdays. So she's partly or subconsciously on team "Okay but why would you tie it to a character who's still not really you?" Couples Therapist Square Guy declares that her bf is an undesirable jackoff and this is how she's locking herself in to the mistake of marrying him. (She's pregnant.)

Is Hololive even still a thing?
Despite spending the past year hemorrhaging talent, it's still around. Those who stayed still enjoy management, sponsorships, and a fair share of Japanese corpo autism for balance. What's more telling of Hololive's stability is the amount of talent resurfacing without much complaint of the company. Maybe that's some NDA shit, but the fact it even bothered putting that up would also be some kinda indicator of competence.

Nijisanji JP is doing fine, EN has been trying to claw back but pretty much only has a new gen that got recieved well (by fujos, its an all male gen), HoloEN and JP both have had departures but the current talent is still happy and they have oodles of projects going on, i think they're starting a Hololive summer project right now thats getting good traction, Phase is also doing well.

"I was an indie for 18 years" that can't possibly be correct, right? Streaming wasn't really a thing in 2008, unless it was Justin TV era. This would be DSP-adjacent ancient.
Her earliest vids on youtube go back to 2010 and apparently before she formed her current channel, her and her friend (the 'Lie' in 'LeeAndLie') uploaded covers to early youtube. Most of that shit is gone at this point so it's impossible to verify, but tbh I believe her because everyone uploaded shit to youtube back then. I have privated videos of shit like my dog digging a hole and how to build VisualBoyAdvance for YellowDogLinux on PS3 going back to 2006/2007 during the 'upload random bullshit' era of youtube.

Ame, Mumei and Gura all made sense, because Holo seems to focus more on music and idol culture now, while Ame seems to want to mess with other forms of live 3D, and Mumei and Gura seemed to just be burned out.

Fauna's graduation made the least sense at the time, and was the most worrying, but her recent announcement puts everything into perspective. It would be hard for her to raise kids while constantly flying to Japan.

I genuinely do not think that there is any significant chance of HoloEN spontaneously imploding at this point, and the separations were just a result of differences in future plans.

Didn't they just pay a big "No-strings attached" sign-on bonus to get her on-board? And now she gets to leave after less than a year. She's making out like a bandit!
Is it known which consultancy they used to get that done? I'm legit impressed with their work.
Agreed. They scrubbed most mentions of it from search engines and got it pulled from archive sites. It was professional work, not just a bunch of IT goons throwing out takedown notices.
