These recent departures made the cracks visible but holy shit, VShojo fucked up badly.
Listening to Kson's stream right now. Said she's planning to keep it to her own personal situation and not speak for any other talents. I'll update as it goes.
Kson tweeted just half an hour ago.

I know that this screenshot is from her QnA 3 years ago when she just joined Vshojo but I can't resist posting it

I hope every Vtuber on earth - the women and men alike - simultaneously announces that they're getting married and joining a brand new corpo, run by CEO Phil Burnell and talent manager Bob Chipman.
Now I need a Holo Santos like event in which they reenact Paradise Lost. Mel is a sympathetic Lucifer, Subaru is an Old Testament "god", and Ollie and Miko are Adam and Eve.

Bitch is for real like herpes. Imagine being accused of charity scamming and your sole remaining talent is the one previously implicated in charity scamming.:story:
Looks like I will be getting my wish for real. Once the company goes down and she goes back to being indie, we can all forget about that British skank.

The EN branch is down to just Froot.
Wouldn't be surprised if she's announced by the end of the day given her posts. Probably just waiting so she can have maximum attention for her announcement.

Vshoujo is essentially continuing to pay staff which is employed, and continuing to milk vtubers and not pay them, because they are independent contractors so they can be abused in everyway an employee cant.
I want to know what "not paying them" actually means. I can't believe that these talents have been getting no revenue for 6+ months, and not thrown a shit fit until Ironmouse said something.

A not-as-scummy possibility in this is that management overhired staff members, were overleveraged, and had to take (steal) non-stream revenue to keep the business afloat. It creates a cycle of them taking from the talents to pay the staff/business expenditures, which eventually causes implosion. Seen it happen to a surprising number of businesses. It's not malicious and easily rationizable, despite being illegal.

Then again this is former Twitch staff so why give them any benefit of the doubt.

Just want to come out of retirement and point out that alot of VSHOJO JP staff are currently coming out on twitter saying that they have been fired. From what I can gather the company is mostly empty now with the JP CEO trying to literally clean up what is happening. Smells like alot of Embezzlement has gone on behind the scenes. Also the JP CEO i gotta give credit to for actually agreeing to do it despite the fact he probably has 100 lawyers breathing down his neck. Wouldnt be surprised if it gets dissolved quickly this is a crazy situation.

EDIT: Would also like to point out that while he says that JP is doing fine financially they send money back to the EN branch and arent given back the expenses or talent merch revenue. CEO says that basically he was being lied to about where the money went.

kson will be ok but I feel really bad for the new JP girls.

Actually listening to the JP CEO speak, it's extremely rare for a japanese to be taking such a huge risk and get grilled live. I'm not sure how complicit he is, but he is making the rational move for the captain of a sinking ship by getting ahead of things before he gets caught in the upcoming legal shitstorm.

None of these girls are getting their money back. that's for sure. this company is fucking finished.

My schizo theory is that people were skimming money from everyone, and because I hate froot, I am gonna say shes probably also had a hand in skimming off the money.

523k disappearing is quite concerning, Im probably wrong about froot, but the higher ups are definitely skimming from it, and pocketing it. If one of the girls sees this as grounds for a lawsuit, theyd have to open the financial books, which would be funny. I dont want vshojo to die yet, not until we learn what happened to that cash

Maybe? They already lost 3 talents and one of the founders just within the past few months before Ironmouse dropped that bomb of a video.

All that leaves is a handful of JP members, and there's reportedly been a bunch of JP staff firings so they're likely dead too, and of course Froot, the moron with amazing timing hasn't said shit except post some memes about everything being on fire.

This company is completely toast.
