The trend of hoping its them is much larger than this thread. ive seen tons of people excited that it might be those 2. Theres a good chance i watched more of their content than 99% of the people sharing this sentiment.

You're right, it's probably a misguided attempt on my part to recapture the lighting in a bottle feeling of the first HoloEN gen.

There is another possibility that you seem to not to have considered.

The GoGo Nippon sisters, Ally & Sally, the new HoloEN doggos. They are all one and the same.

This is what I've found after some searching:
  • While Akira and Makoto are supposed to be ESL, it could very well be kayfabe because their characters are supposed to be ESL. If we rule out their pretend accents, you'll see they sound similar to Ally&Sally.
  • In fact, they singing voices are also very similar.
  • The Ally&Sally twitter account had a constant, uninterrupted engagement for years... until July 2021. Right when the GGN sisters debuted.
  • That account severely reduced its output after that date, until... November 2022. Right when GGN graduated.
  • The Ally&Sally account even had a tweet around November 2022 where they said that no matter the tough times they went through their bond was unbreakable and that they would always have each other.
  • They opened a Patreon in February 2023. I can see from the post previews that they have shared they were "working from home" for the past while, and they also mention their love for visual novels.
  • One of the biggest simps for the GGN sisters immediately switched from interacting with the GGN account to interacting with the Ally&Sally account shortly after their graduation.
If this is all common knowledge (them being the same people) - I didn't know just FYI, feel free to roast me.

Twins: most likely the GGN girls, maybe V&U twins
Nerissa: mom0ki or Beryl Beru
Koseki: Waabyu
Shiori: Natsumi Moe

I'd love for them to be the GGN twins but I'm not getting my hopes up. As for their Engrish, iirc, they hammed it up for their characters but there're videos of them out of character speaking English as well as Pippa does.
