Abi even replied on her video that she had to cut out copyright stuff to repost her side. Pippa would have to do the same. It was a fun show, moldy food and all.

I'd been thinking he simply doesn't have it anymore and is waiting on a new one, similar to how Suisei lost her original model when she joined Hololive.

While certainly not the *best* idea to hire a minor in a public-facing entertainment company (yes including jpop idol corps that shit's weird), I think the general reaction is just a little bit overblown. Wasn't Haachama 16 when she joined?

I wouldn't be surprised if his old model is somehow lost to the void. I can actually see it happening:
>gets into corpo, time to for some upgrades
>gets new pc, doesn't transfer or backup model
>leave after contract negotiations fail
>realizes need old model, old pc is either kaput or data isn't compatible anymore
>has to get a new model, in the meantime a large green circle png should work

I feel like he'd be pretty open if he lost the files for his character, he doesn't seem the type to not own up his dumb moves. My thought was he's got a non-compete clause that very specifically mentions streaming with a moving avatar of some kind, but using the static orb bypasses the stipulations on that clause. We'll know if he suddenly has a model on an anniversary of the date of him leaving.

I do not know what Pippa's deal is with this video. We are watching a low IQ junkie saying whatever she can to try to get her low IQ junkie ass out of trouble and Pippa is trying to find logic in it. How in the hell is that so hard to understand?

Only Haachama and Shion were minors back then (I think). That was 4 years ago and Cover didn't make an announcement about that. If you look at the vtuber scene in 2023, how can any responsible adult think it's a good idea to announced this to all the freaks out there who will try to groom and sexualize her. There are independet vtubers under 18, sure. But they don't release afucking statement on twitter about them being underaged.

It's a weird call and I think even comparing it to haachama says a lot more about why it's a bad idea.

Haachama's hiring was over 5 years ago and Cover very shortly after added an age requirement to their applications. Another company coming out and doing something that Hololive was smart enough to quit doing half a decade ago isn't a good look either. Or if you want some really fucked up perspective. The last time holo had hiring practices like that, this Taiwanese girl in question's age was very possibly in the single digits.

Sure their statement was put out to say "we don't condone lewding this talent we hired" but putting that info about her age out there is like living in the inner city and putting a sign out in front of your house to say "please don't steal the expensive jewelry in my house". Sure, you're putting a statement out there to say "don't do this" but the only thing it's doing is advertising to the worst actors that there's jewelry to be stolen.
