I like how Kaela's essentially become an unofficial HoloEN member. Also, Bijou really dived headfirst into Hololive, collabing and getting along with everyone as if she's been there for years. I thought FuwaMoco would've been the ones to show up everywhere but they've largely been keeping to themselves and Advent, outside of a few collabs with other branches.

Regarding not liking vtubers you liked, Iron Mouse has gotten annoying not because of her but because of this growing cringe and gay insistence of having her go around the real world with a face time iPad strapped to a scooter and the growing attachment of everything including that fag Connor. We're at the point where companies like Phase can interact with fans at conventions doing their full mocap, and companies having vtubers at booths or pop ups is fine, but there's a point where the hobby now goes from you seeking it out (and looking cringe) to now coming to you, and that's where the awkward starts rising.

Mouse was fine on her own, but then the whole of the Vtubing community started "shipping" her with Connor, and the entire thing is just cringe overload. It's uncomfortable at times at how they go around "pretending" at what friends normally do with each other, but taken to the extreme at 11. I used to find the "Angry Hispanic" thing funny, but now it's just incredibly annoying and signs of an increasingly toxic personality to be around. Her not throwing enough support behind Silver during the Wizard Game fiasco and then that weird "project Hope" Ukraine donation stream kind of turned me off the group for a while. You're an entertainment entity. What the fuck are you doing donating to Ukraine?

In EN the voice actress is popular for the character she plays. In JP sometimes roles are given because the seiyuu herself is the popular one and will bring additional exposure to the work she is voicing in. Being an idol or model before becoming a seiyuu is not uncommon, as seiyuus are often complete media products in the same way that regular actors are.

Pomu left in January, and Selen was terminated in February. Right now Niji's doing the smart thing and keeping their traps shut after repeatedly digging holes with their official statements. Selen/Dokibird is thriving at the moment but it looks like she'll be an indie for the time being.
