Fun fact: there is this whole subculture of ero vtubers in Japan that specifically do immensely fucked up things. I think the woman who stapled her pussy closed was mentioned here before as an example. They exclusively do their thing on paid sites like fantia and such.

The staple incident became notorious enough that Tenma commented on it a couple years ago.

Also the easiest way, I think, that you could dodge the issue all together is to not insinuate you're trans at all. "I'm female, always have been" is a lot harder to argue against.

I'm fairly certain Kirsche's case was under the nose of offkai. But a good amount of vtubers including kiki pyonpyon were sponsored/partnered with Oshi_Live. They basically had moving monitors all over the con. I know Oshi_live had an official booth but not sure if Offkai had to give the ok for which vtubers they would partner with.

I think it was less "under their nose" but more that they literally went outside of the venue to do it. There's not much Offkai could have done at that point

All this Ethan vs Vtubers drama has led me to discover this particular individual, Joseph Bulkin. Very small individual but entertaining nonetheless.

I assume that they're a troll, but they have posts dating back to 2021 of them going full schizo regarding Nerissa Ravencroft, who they claim got them banned from Twitch. If it is a troll, they're dedicated I guess. If not, then this exact type of individual is why vtubers tend to have anonymity.
