I do somewhat miss the level of activity we had back then, sure it was mostly worthless liveposting with zero context, but in-between those posts the thread would keep pretty up to date with happenings within the sphere. TVA still does this, but it also lacks the highlight feature so It's hard for me to catch up.

Sana announced her graduation on the 11th of July, there was a convention too I believe, plus new phase gen, a lot of shit happened in this time frame.

It stuck during DropKiwifarms and the Tor exile Kiwifarms was forced into, and It's good enough that most people don't see a reason to come back. Then it gained its own userbase, that while still mostly Kiwi Refugees, does have quite a few people who never visited the Farms.
I really hope Proctor adds highlights once he gets it moved to his own servers, TVA has been cloud hosted since the start and I think that might be why it hasn't changed much from basic bitch Xenforo.

It was mostly good because there's a lot of users, who watch anyone and everyone, so a lot of interesting streams get posted, and a lot of shit gets talked about. Also there were lots of very good OPs compiling info about random dramas or events. No clue if it's still that way, I haven't gone back since the Fat Incident™.

There is still alot of decent info being posted although like people have said the lack of a highlight type of feature leaves you at the mercy of people making recap posts, or just accepting that its a bitch and a half to get updated for the most part though, the sub-forum posts discussing happenings like the Niji/Selen implosion, minor Niji happenings or debuts/graduations are pretty good when people actually archive their shit, ive done EFFORTPOOOSTS on them and gotten decent info/feedback

It also has a couple threads about the proto-lolcows of the scene like Spanner/Kestraline or that crazy Kronii SEAnigger, Nolan Crush too

He found the Chinese discord servers for vtubers and has been shitting that up. Eventually the Chinese found out about his history because he was so annoying, they were even linking TVA to each other. They held a public vote about what to do with him and they ended up banning him.

I've always thought that Nolan was just a few steps and a bit of unwanted attention away from becoming a fullblown lolcow and this only reinforces that belief.

I do however enjoy that I only remember he exists once in a very blue moon when he show's up to one of Mori's streams and weirdly announces his arrival in chat like an hour into the stream.
