General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

This is fucking terrible news.
Not if you’re a cowboy.
What do people here think of Kirsche? I just escaped the 4chan bombing so I’m not too familiar with the culture here. Is talk of political vtubers like her allowed?
She’s great.
and she was one of the biggest English vtubers out there.
She’s THE biggest VTuber period. Not “one of the” not “English.”

She has the most subscribers period.
Look up Senzawa's bluesky account, this is definitely something she've wanted to do for a long time
Link it.

So true /vt/ sister, Cover opened offices and used their expansion into north american markets as a selling point to investors and started putting on concerts there with EN because "they don't really care about EN"
Okay let me know when they open at least one (1) VR studio in north America and don't make their overseas talents all fly to Japan. EN and ID have always been a side show. JP has always been Cover's main project and understandably so. HoloJP is an order of magnitude more important than HoloEN from an organizational standpoint. EN and ID could all disappear tomorrow and Cover will live. But if JP all disappeared, the company would immediately fall apart.

I dislike political streamers on principal. Also, the fact that Proctor spergs out any time she takes even the mildest criticism (e.g. people saying it's ethot behavior for her to commission and publish hentai of herself) lowers my interest in anything to do with her even further.

She just seems like a grifter cause the only things I've seen of her is redpill/blackpill political stuff or the DEO/BRIDGE (which I will admit was good to do). Other than that, it just feels like the same takes I see from every culture war person on the "right".

We do have a Kirsche thread here though if you'd like to travel there.

Cover doesn't really care about EN
- Gave Advent new vr models and a whole MV for April fool
- Gave Justice new vr models and a whole VR world for Halloween
- Pushing Enreco stuff
- Breaking dimensions concert
If this is them not caring then ID must be on the chopping block since most of their event like Minecraft independence day are planned and work on by themselves.

even if they open a studio in America the talents will still have to fly to get to it, that's always been the issue for EN is that "EN" is a sprawling market with no centralized location. And even supposing they did they aren't going to drop the millions of dollars on a similar quality VR capture studio for just a handful of people to use (since a good chunk of EN already live in Japan now as is they wouldn't need or use that studio) meaning it makes more sense to just keep bringing people in to all use the high end studio instead of wasting millions to build a studio in commiefornia that half the people the studio was "for" would still have to travel long distance for extended periods to use, and to still have retards sperg and say retarded shit like "wow cover doesn't care about EN they gave them the lesser studio".

For everything else, certainly JP is the core of the company, that still doesn't mean "they don't care about EN" or make you saying that any less retarded.

I'm surprised Cover is letting her leave. I think ultimately, Cover doesn't really care about EN. the JP talents make most of the money, and the shareholders don't really care about anything except dividends. Also, yeah, I can see Ina leaving next. F
Cover cares a lot about EN. The problem for some talents seems to be the the need to go to Japan. If you go all-in and move to Japan, you get lots of project support and are near most other Holos. If you're willing to at least travel to Japan regularly, you can fit the big events and project or two. If you don't want to go to Japan at all, you end up on the outskirts, regardless of branch support. The ENs that moved to Japan have a very different relationship with management than the ones who didn't.
So true /vt/ sister
Catchall insults like "sister" and "glowie" are the worst ways of stifling discussion, let this die with /vt/.

I used it because the join date made it pretty clear he's a /vt/ refugee I was just speaking his language.

But also if you think someone calling you "sister" stifles your discussion you're a weak faggot and probably deserve to get filtered.

Who wants to take bets on who’s gonna be the last holo en chuuba standing.
My money is on ‬‪Kiara‬.
I have a feeling the ones who are more music oriented and want to be idols will stay. So Calli, Wawa, Bae, Irys, FWMC, ERB, Nerissa.
Biboo just moved to Japan so she’ll stay at least a little while and she’s been open to doing the Idol stuff much like Gigi.
Raora and CC have only been around for 10 months just like the rest of Justice but that doesn’t always mean anything as we’ve seen with Sana.

But yeah either Kiara or Calli will stay until the doors close. Like how Sting never left WCW until it died.
