I wish I could tell you. Nyanners has some interesting and fun content but ruins it with. . . you guessed it. . . middle-school-freshman levels of poop jokes. I don't really watch Mouse. . . but a friend of mine enjoys her content and he has taste enough to understand that Marine and Haato are SUPERLITEDOPE. . . so I assume she has some merit. Even Syd (not Hime, Hime sucks) has some fun to her vids. But Zentreya doesn't have a personality because the voice doesn't have a personality. Seriously. . . your one input physically to being a VTuber is your voice. . .

Edit: Finally listened to that release from AZKI. Now, I still prefer Suisei's voice on a personal note. But I have to say. . . Damn she has a gift.
Edit2: Now I'm listening to her last stream as a prelude to the Priestess' Duolingo shenanigans. Her voice is beautiful. I still have my preferences. . . but she is definitely getting subbed and downloaded now.

She's done like 3 whole streams. She uses a pretty calm voice compared to her usual content as Sydsnap which is something. I still expect her to disappear when she gets tired of the grift though.

Depends. Pekora, no. Aqua OOC probably couldn’t even look at you. Korone would probably be fine either way, and Rushia would depend on which personality. And Ayame just seems too wholesome to lewd.

I think the correct answer is you go for Hoshikawa and for Matsuri‘s roommate together, and then everyone gets something.


Something I hadn’t really thought of till I rewatched this is that an advantage of the girls using slightly exaggerated voices, which we don’t really think about, is that it helps mask any autotuning on their songs.
. You can hear it pitch bend very slightly in the chorus, but otherwise you can’t.

Also, it amuses me that Hoshikawa has a higher pitched voice than a girl whose character gimmick is that she’s a 10 year old.

While we're on the subject of rrats, has anything more about the Monoe situation been uncovered? I'm surprised I still haven't heard anything about what happened, beyond wild speculation that Monoe was involved with narcotics, or perhaps was auditioning for hololive (or maybe both?).

Oh, are they still a thing? I thought the fallout from the Ame-geddon was that they had actually broken up early 2020 and the speds were just freaking out about anything/nothing/everything.

Nothing substantive has come out from what I've seen. Nothing but rumors still. And those really probably won't all die down until Gen 6 premiers and Monoe isn't in the line up, because that's what everyone will of course be saying is the case.

Hell, they're saying it about Gibara right now. The rrat going around is she had a falling out of sorts with Niji, hence why her streaming schedule suffered (from what people have said) and she jumped ship similarly like Luna to Holo and will be joining as Gen6.
