This is tantamount to asking why people like anime as opposed to other media. Or asking why they like any other form of media: soap operas, kung fu movies, freeform jazz. So why do people like it? Fuck if anyone knows. That's like asking someone why they like pineapples. Because they like the taste? You can't give an objective reason why anyone would like pineapples compared to other fruits.

Unironically yes. Most of the discussion that can't be performed elsewhere is perfectly suited to a Community Watch, whether it's exposing a particular troon or just shitting on people. I'm not thrilled about losing "appreciation" content but it's much better than just dumpstering the thread.

The only issue I have with this is it will likely encourage speds to come in and shit up the thread rather than actually have any kind of discussion.
I don't see any reason we have to change any of the content we post. If anything we're the community being watched.
As long as the thread's local speds don't shit up the thread in turn, it should all turn out well. Null posts were what we needed to get off the topic of full autism and coomering some here have been up to.
