granted I haven't seen that much of her, but in the few clips she genuinely seems to enjoy herself (not that they all do, but there's a certain energy to it - just look at pikamee for example).

the other thing most people probably have forgotten (or didn't notice): the first time you step outside the sanitized corporate internet is magical, it's probably even more of a culture shock now. then you either slowly attune to the shitposting and enjoy it or can't handle the mean words and become a redditor. so for now I give her the benefit of doubt - and let's be honest, it could be worse than the farms.
(and if people are worried it will lead to an influx of tards: it's not like it happened before, and they either lurk enough to fit in or told to fuck off, same as always).

It’s one of those things that pops up every so often. Same with doomposting about Calli or some new rrat about something overblown. All you can really do is just wait for it to blow over or shitpost for the hell of it.

She has mentioned being a veteran of japanese messageboards so the culture shock can't be that massive. The doxxing comment is most likely because there is a running joke? about her gathering dox on her listeners.

I haven't been keeping tabs on him for the last few months, mostly because I already put him out of sight and mind when he wouldn't stop going full parasocial just because Calli used his work and acknowledged him once (I think it was her sheriff's hat prop he designed?).

Has he really just gotten worse?

That she slept her way to 'success')

  8. Was resigning herself to a life of being a 'normal' worker. Came to Japan one last time on an exclusive, once in a lifetime work visa that cannot be renewed. Many speculate she came as a translator during the Olympics. She also seemingly was trying hard one last time to get picked up by a major company as full time cosplayer. Of course, this got COMPLETELY derailed by COVID.
  9. We are now here. She's now the successful vTuber Takanashi Kiara, but the past 8-9 years of being completely shit on by every opportunity she's had has definitely caused her to be defeatist. It was much more prevalent in the early streams (you could tell she was in the Idol industry "Last place = loser/gets fired" mentality.) But she's getting better as time goes on.



Holo-EN and absolutely atrocious sleep schedules, name a more iconic duo.

The Lufthansa part was totally unknown to me and a really funny coincidence: Keeki went to the audition for the job the same year and month as I did. She might've been there with me. We were about 20 so I can't recall everyone's face, also I was talking with this one chick from the beginning so I wasn't paying much attention to the others (goddamn she was a 10/10, totally didn't get her number coz I failed and got big sad).
These auditions are quite hard to pass and include a psychiatrist talk (since that lunatic pilot from Germanwings). This job for someone like Keeki is the SHIT. You work hard but get a LOT of free time and mega-cheap tickets to anywhere. You can travel to Japan easy like 10 times a year if you really want to.
Basically: If she had kept her mouth shut about her undocumented medicine she would be still working there. Yes, even with the pandemic coz Lufthansa FA's were of the lucky few that kept their jobs. Of course that would meant no chicken.

btw I got a job at another german airline but GG'd out coz fuck covid

I'm glad that Matsuri finally hit that big 1 million shortly after the chicken did.
