I just think that literally one day after a graduation announcement, Korone asking us to save the date 4 months in advance is a bit dickish of her given the timing.

The chances are that this is a good announcement, as she says 'I may have something FOR you'. If that something is a resignation notice she might be the most savage person on the planet.

Korone has had some pretty savage moments for a proclaimed introvert tbh. Mostly to her viewers.. wait.. does that make me a goddamn masochist?

I was on stream but I couldn't catch what she was saying (My Japanese is not jouzu), but judging from the comments it seems to be more about creative difference she has with Hololive and she felt like she was being caged. If that's the reason, I can definitely accept it more. Such as shame that this is how corpos become when they get big (same with YouTube).

The gist of the stream was basically what most people have already said. Cover tried to keep her from graduating, but in the end they couldn't see eye to eye and she felt that with the rules in place that she would be limiting her creativity. It took a toll on her to the point where she was, for a lack of a better word, depressed. And in her words "The main reason why I can't stay with you guys is because I can't make myself smile anymore...". She also didn't want to fake a smile and lie to her fans.

I'd rather not share it, but I'd rather have this be out there than whatever spin some people will inevitably give it.

No not really, seems more like Cover just wants to do very safe, sponsor friendly content and it was making her feel very unhappy and unable to speak freely. They tried really hard to reach an agreement but the direction she wants and the direction cover wants are too different, genuinely not really any bad blood, just creative differences
