I'm not angry she got bonked, it's fair enough, and I'm willing to wait and see if she and management can compromise. It's one thing to warn your talent and private the video, but another to have Pippa came back the next day a shell of her normal self. Maybe she was walking on eggshells by choice, to show management she can get through a stream without shenanigans, but as stated by others: That stream was painful to watch. If the limits of her character mean we can't have happy manic Pippa bouncing from topic to topic, laughing her ass off ranting about things like Pokémon, inept post office employees, and insane Build-a-Bear fans, then the limits should be adjusted.

Karen got in on an ESL teaching work visa and now Cover endorses her as an entertainer or some other bullshit title to keep her visa valid. Keeki had to leave specifically because her visa was different and it'll be some time before she can get another one endorsed by Cover, probably.

Vtubing and anime in general is for domestic consumption (always JP first) first then international second. Just like how anime producer of shield hero, healer hero (or any deem “edgy misogyny” by Twitter) all give middle finger to western autists because they make money while those guy don’t.
West Taiwan is being autist while there’s just not enough free money in the market (those autists overhype their richness just like their aircraft carrier capabilities). Regarding Pippa: I can not understand why the company does not want such reputable audiences as /vt/ and Kiwi Farms.
In all seriousness though: if you want to create a seiso group, why do you recruit someone like Pippa? This is not her selling point and I expect this mismanagement to end in quick graduation.

This is my point exactly. Currently what is Phase Connect and what is their goal? Are they pushing for the traditional v-tuber model of mostly seiso game streaming and adding songs to the mix? Why did they pick Pippa up then? She has been shitposting since before day 1. Is she a good singer? Because she doesn't strike me as being good at singing either.

Unless the person doing the hiring is blind they should know what they got themselves into. As far as entertainment goes, Pippa is pretty fucking entertaining but I do agree that she might burn some bridges ranting about Nintendo and whatnot. That said I think she is worth having around, maybe as the black sheep of the company as those are the ones that usually get the most attention. Look at Coco.

Well we don't know both side's story yet so i don't think it proper to judge anything, but i just hope it doesn't ended up in something bad for both of them.

It's so bizarre. She always use this second account as a place to vent her negativity, so the fact that she doesn't use the main acc and use this one mean she's conscious enough to use the one with less follower, yet she air all the stuff she wasn't suppose to out anyway. Menhara will be menhara I guess.
My only wish is that it doesn't cause too much noise and affect others, and that Haato is doing well.

i see her menhera tendency is kicking in. From her perspective it seemed like her genmate refused to do a live with her but was willing with rushia, so i guess it's kinda understandable she got pissed/frustrated. My only gripe is the fact she decided to air it all out using her hololive acc instead of her roommate's acc or better yet just keep it behind the curtain.

can't say i didn't expect this kind of behaviour from someone as unhinged as her. It just came across as unprofessional sadly.

The fuck is this Twitter sperg talking about? I've seen no one say anything of that nature here (maybe users on /vt/, but I don't check there).

About that Pippa stream, that was very unexpected for her to talk about lolcowdom in the Build-A-Bear fandom/community(?). If some brave soul wants to dig further to see if there are more stories to be found, then a Community Watch thread is probably warranted.

Jokes aside, I can 100% see Matsuri feeling this was a major betrayal of trust. Especially when Gen 1's that aren't FBK have really struggled to ride the waves since last year, and you'd expect there to be a semblance of comararderie between them for stuff like this. Haato was very noticeably the only Gen 1 not present for Matsuri's stream, and it's not as if these two events happened with a substantial gap between them, either.

Is it unprofessional? Yeah, probably. Personally, I'll take any act of open, honest discussion about what's really going on behind the curtain than suffer more of this 'Hololive is a family that never has problems uwu' faggotry it's known for. Many V-Tubers have sub channels they sadpost on, and there are probably rules against discussing Hololive internal disputes on your main because it not only confirms the connection between roommates but also implicates the person BEHIND the character they have the problem with.
