The cynical part of me believes that this Saruei "drama" is a contrived means to push her into the public consciousness.

Before this drama, she was a virtual nobody outside of artist circles/depends if you follow Hololive artists (of which she has drawn plenty). Now almost every other Vtuber social media platforms (4ch/reddit/whatever) can't seem to stop talking about her

If it isn't a next level 200 IQ plan to "advertise" her, I do hope she gets to solve the issue. Otherwise, I won't give her what she wants

Who knows, but i kinda read it as Jilted artists taking shots at her cause of her new lucrative vtuber career which shes having a ton of success with.

yea as the dude above said she always did well, the vtuber gig is just gonna pay off bigtime, plus her model and concept are sick as hell, regardless on all that, her art is top tier! I wanted to post that one Amelia Watson drawing she did but I decided not to.

Good to know about the address, yeah probably part of the extra complication Kson forgot about how doing things in person creates lots of extra chances for stuff to get leaked.

I really am hoping modern medicine can work out how to help Kanata, I can't imagine the whole mess of emotions that messed up medical condition is causing her, also wonder if she's pushing herself extra hard because of the fear of losing the ability to keep doing these things she loves.

Guyssss!! I just got back from visiting my grandpa!
↓I guess this is sort of like a journal entry.
My grandpa is already over 90 years old. Due to this, it's hard for me to meet him. He got diagnosed with something not that long ago and was hospitalized and just finished surgery. He came to Tokyo for the treatment, and my mom (Sayuri) was with him the entire time. She contacted me, asking, "Since he's here, do you want to pay him a visit?"
But I'm so busy, and I have to stream everyday, so I turned her down once.
But then today, I got a LINE message from him that read, "I thought I'd get to meet you so I'm a bit disappointed, but thank you for everything. I hope you take care of yourself and always, always be happy."
All of a sudden, I was wracked with the fear that this might be my last opportunity to ever see him. So that's why I rushed over to visit him.
I'm a VTuber and I love Hololive, both for its culture and as a place. Missing a stream and being forgotten by you all frightens me, and I know that the time I can spend with you is not infinite. That's why I want to treasure every single moment I have of it. There's so much I want to do and have to do, so much so that taking a few hours out to spend on my family makes me uneasy.
However, thanks to you guys warmly sending me off, I was able to meet my grandpa, and I can't be happier about it. Thank you, everyone! And that's what I wanted to convey.
I'm sorry for the long post. I hope to see you again tomorrow!

as much as i think the hololive girls are great, they really have to drop that fucking attitude , the only thing it causes is 1. Over work mentality 2. depression , The simps wont forget you if you make content that is fun, especially not the hyper obsessive avg hololive fan, they need to calm down and enjoy the necessary important things in life such as seeing family and taking vacations, Kiara once scoled jp members for this but i think she should continue to hammer it into them.

Clearly my earlier skepticism of her 600 goal was unwarranted. Even if she doesn't hit the 600, she's already better off than she would have been if she went for 500 and got it. 559 now btw. Singing "Shut the Fuck Up". If she hadn't earned my sub earlier, she certainly has now.

I prefer long hair, but Short Hair Reine could look amazing. Reine's one of the best-designed characters in Hololive IMO, her original outfit is gorgeous, so I'm hoping Pochi can knock it out of the park again.

I and alot of people were skeptic too. I think she started not caring as much about trying to get the song perfect which helped her along. and alot of people are falling in love with her singing

Is anything public about what the deal is with her heatlh? is it a recent thing or something long term? I hadn't known she had health problems until I noticed she hadn't been streaming for some time and didn't know if this was a chronic thing for her or not.

I think this is new. I was watching her before she became a vtuber and despite not knowing Japanese i dont think she ever said anything about it. Or if she did it was never translated or talked about

She born with a heart condition which she visit hospital for regularly but I don't think she ever get into detail. Not sure when, but she said that it's stable for now and so long as she keep regular check up and take medication she will be fine. She also got her chronic pain in back and shoulder due to the nature of her work, which she visit massage therapist for. Also occasional "low pressure" stuff. Her latest break from streaming is due to her work, and a bout of health and mental.
