I don't prioritise watching Holomen over all others. Towa, Astel and Kurumi are amongst my favourites for APEX.

Choco and Roboco have been streaming since the start, but the third member was initially their coach, Kamaneko, as Astel was probably running late for one reason or another.

I decided to watch Uto's POV today as Astel, Kurumi, or Towa aren't streaming (or at least weren't from the start and I haven't checked).

Her team coach is Tempplex, a middle-eastern Pro player who has a translator with him. He's played with Chihiro before and they get along, but he's also coming off a lot more aggressive with his coaching than any other coach I've watched. He's pretty snappy and not at all tactful.

He enters the call after they die or the round ends, and is supposed to offer tips, but it mostly just amounts to 'you should have simply done X, Y, and Z that's all', but the problem is that APEX is so situational that those kind of tips will probably be redundant in the next round and forgotten about when next they are in that situation. Teaching people to improve their game sense to such a minute degree isn't really feasible.

He's not a bad guy or anything; he has played with V-Tubers before and makes an effort to speak in the little Japanese he knows during gameplay, but it's a good job a translator is filtering out his tone and directness because he has a way of talking that Japanese people would probably choose to avoid.

I wonder why no one asking Selen to coach them, she's a legit top 500. I don't think there's anyone in Vchuuba scene ever reach that rank (maybe Botan). I wonder if one day Selen decided to participate in the Vchuuba Apex tourney (Matsuri got a beffy PC as consolation price last tourney), Selen will storm everyone.

since we talked about Anya situation before, decided to watch Anya current super chat reading to give it a try, so here is a bit summary :

Actually to correct my autistic comment earlier, now I realized what is a bit annoying about her talk is how she is not trying to translate what she said when talking to the chat. so if chat talks in Indonesia, she just talks in ID, and when someone talks in JP she just replied in JP and does not elaborate to explain it. maybe because I used to Pikamee and Ollie who constantly translate what they talking about now I found it a bit hard to follow Anya

Selen is brand spanking new to the V-Tuber scene and was only like 2 weeks into activity when Hal started listing the teams and coaches, which means they were probably in the process of picking teams before Obsydia debuted.

I think we WILL see her pop up in the future, most likely in ALGS or CR Cup.

However, the value cap system applies to most of these tournaments. Selen can SAY she's a Master/Predator, and she can play out of her mind during streams, but these tournament showrunners are probably going to want to see badges to prove it. In other words, she's gonna have to play a lot of Ranked on or off stream on her Selen account to show she has the chops to have a team built around her.

CR Cup's value cap system is pretty wild and made to have fun. They have 'point deduction criteria' for women and non-native Japanese speakers, to which Selen is both. The showrunners also banter with members like Astel, telling him he can have a couple points knocked off his value as long as he writes a poem about summer, or send his mother a heartfelt message and post it.

Selen COULD be a Predator worth 12pts, but because she's an English-speaking woman, she may only be worth 8. This could make her one of the most stupidly lucrative participants available as she would have the same value as a Japanese Diamond player. As such, I really think she'll need to reach Master/Pred on her current account before she'll be allowed entry.

Selen learning Japanese callouts or partnering with someone like Bora and speaking Korean at a level where being non-native doesn't really matter, she could really fuck shit up in CR Cup.

The value cap of CR Cup is 24pts and you must have one male and one female. So you could have something like Selen (Non-native female Pred - 8 ), Bora (Non-native female Master - 6), and Axia Krone (Japanese Male Master - 10) as a totally realistic Nijisanji team.

Artia was not a funny troll, she was genuinely a malicious one. She's basically the epitome of what a lot of people who dislike Amelia think she is. For example the "She 's going to derail or get people killed during the TTRPG because she's trolling." ideology. Ame knows that it's Calli's passion project and how much effort she puts into it and the last thing she'd do is ruin it for her. Artia is the type of person that would, "for a laugh".

Sadly most of her content is nuked, and very little is available on YouTube. But I still remember a Minecraft collab that CN did where they spent hours building some genuine impressive buildings, for Artia to blow them up with TNT for a joke. I'm fairly sure she was even disliked in her own gen.

My main point prior was that it's hard to separate the artist from the entertainment and this case because she said artist used their forte for malicious things.
It's something that's down not only to the person in this case but also her V tubing career.

I never respected Pippa as much as I did after learning she completly skipped the Idolm@ster collab with Azur Lane (which speaking from experience, was a pretty shitty collab), and then commenting "I've seen the community for that, I ain't touchin that"

She is not the only one lets enumerate how this event was uber trash

1. We already had a Idol event with the MUSE event
2. The story of the event is absolute trash (they just appear and that's it) even the Hololive event had infinitely more lore (like Fubuki fawning for her cousin, Matsuri lewding IJN destroyers, and Mio being her also tons of mentions of their Minecraft streams)
3. The units are meh at best
4. Gacha was poisoned (aka units with the same time of build) with Ami and Mami you could whale for shit and never get all the units
5. Yostar just picked the ones that already were working with them because they are lazy, Ami and Mami (Asami Shimoda ) was already there as the voice of a Pulin, Azusa Miura (Chiaki Takahashi) is Houshou, Chihaya Kisaragi (Asami mai) is Drake (Original) and was before as Black Heart/Noire (Neptunia collab), Haruka Amami (Eriko Nakamura) is Victorious, Iori Minase (Kugimiya Rie) is Formidable and Vampire, the ONLY one that has never worked with Azur lane is Ritsuko Akizuki (Naomi Wakabayashi) and her unit is trash
6. People taking shots about how why they picked 765pro when the money's on Deresute idols now

Unfortunately I think Ame would get crushed in CR Cup. Crazy Raccoon are a team of Professionals. Selly is the world's #1 Wingman player. You have players like Virtual Gorilla, Hal, Reid, etc. The skill floor is just so high that you have to make the most of your point allocation to avoid getting Thanos'd the moment you try to engage an enemy team.

I would love to see Selen and Ame play together as part of Selen's new 'One Guest per Week' initiative, though, but if I had the choice of Amelia or Nun Bora to win a tournament then it pretty much answers itself.

Humourously, I'm pretty sure Roberu DID somehow abuse his Rank in the last HAL tournament but I can't remember the specifics. Suffice it to say that he isn't participating in this one, though!
