Bullpubs are gay, I used one for nearly 10 years, before firing a regular rifle and the difference was night and day.
The only real advantage is that you can control a bullpub with one hand.

Try doing rifle drill with one, you'll feel like your arm is going to fall off... and instinctively know that it looks shit.
Whoever designed the SLR knew that it had to look cool, so 30 years later when some Para was bayoneting an Argentinian conscript who was a bit too slow surrendering, it would look awesome.

If you like those guys (excepting Paul Harrell) you might appreciate Primary and Secondary, Mr.GunsNGear, and possibly 'Military Arms Channel' (he shoots fruit and meat targets too for laughs on occasion, though doesn't pretend they are realistic simulacrums of human flesh).

The amount of cope Karl puts out for the MDR is a perfect microcosm of him. He loves to act like hes an unbiased source of facts, but he gives the MDR more chances that it could ever earn. In .308 it seems incredibly picky about ammo.

He fucking saws the stock in half and epoxies it back togetehr to try and get a warp out of it. This is after he steams it to the point the wood obviously needs to go back into a kiln. Instead he just puts a ratty ass checkering job (keeps fuzzing wood out because it's too wet) on it and stains it dark to try and hide the epoxy lines. The guns on /k/ found a redit post where he says it's a 2 digit SN
He never did show the epoxy joint that was going to "disappear into the grain" after it was stained and oiled

He got an MP18 with its bolt head and chamber completely filled with weld back to full auto functionality. He seems pretty competent at his trade in my book.
