General GunTuber thread

New Q&A from Ian. Interesting guest spot by a lawyer to discuss the FRT-15. Basically Rare Breed is following the law but the ATF has a history of ignoring the law. Especially when they feel their authoritah isn't being respected. Also confirmation from Ian that he's done with IRTV and all of IRTV's videos and opinions are Karl's and only Karl's.

Deviant still trying to keep up the narrative that Portland antifa are just a bunch of peaceful protestors and the PBs are just violent agitators.
Screen Shot 2021-08-24 at 8.29.12 PM.png

He's referring to the journalists from this video where PBs beat up some guy who had supplies for antifa in his truck.

He forgets to mention the videos of Antifa throwing explosives and beating women all week.

This whole thing is pissing me off more and more.

I've inventoried and got over 2k rounds each of both 7.62 and 5.45, so I'm good for awhile, and I can always pick up a bit more throughout the next year before it all finally dries up. But I don't have any 7.62x54R, because I don't have anything that shoots it yet (yeah, if you can believe it I never picked up a Mosin).

However I was hoping one day to get a PSL, and then started getting the idea of saving up for a DPM parts kit. This bullshit move that has nothing to do with protecting international norms or democracy and everything to do with pissing on gun owners is going to severely crimp this hobby for myself and countless other people.

Even if the Republicans get their shit together and win in both 2022 and 2024, it’s still iffy for them to repeal this shit. They had their chance with Trump and very little was done.

Gun owners really need to start getting active in politics because nobody wants to represent their interests.

I like my PSL, had one issue with it but solved it quick. The prices have really risen for them though.

As for republicans, I wouldn't hold my breath on them repealing shit in their current form. It would almost need a full replacement from the inside for conservatives to actually repeal some of these bullshit laws. Read as what the progressives are doing, but with less retardation.

Yep and my friend were talking about going in on a couple of thousands of rounds I just ordered the tools to build m72 yugo and this shit happens it is just a bummer im pissed and angry all I wanna do is collect soviet combloc guns and it just keeps getting harder dems will do anything to fuck with gun owners and republicans only care about American guns made by companies who convenient line there pockets Karl might be a sperg but hes right. No one cares about poor people who want to own good firearms. Its ok for poor fucks to own a palmetto state thats good for maybe 5000 rounds but God forbid I build a surplus ak that will last me the rest of my life with minimum maintenance.

Dont worry as much. 7.62x39 and x54r were made by dozens of countries and still is. Poland, Ukraine, Serbia, Bosnia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey and finland to name a few. We also have Taiawan and korea (Wolf and PMC). The price will rise to be more in line with 5.56 when the latest panic ends.
its 5.45x39 and 9x18 that are gigafucked. Unfortunately the ban will stay. The president has absolute power over imports. 100% constitutional.

9x18 has picked up a lot outside of Russia as well. Fiocchi and Partisan make range fodder, Hornady does JHP, and Buffalo Bore even makes it in +P.

In fact, 9x18 is one of the few milsurp pistol calibers that I regularly see (along with 7.62x25 in places that have always stocked it). Everything else is gone.

Ive noticed that Partizan and S&B have been making more of the oddball calibers in the past few years. They are my go to for 7.63 Mauser and 6.5 Swede. With S&B being the BRNO factory and Privi being the old FOMU factory they will probably ramp up production. I’m sure they have the tooling for making 7.62x39 and x54 sitting in a warehouse somewhere left over from the the COMBLOC days.

S&B is another good one, they have/had the only good JHP 7.62x25 I've ever found. It violently expands in the correct medium, rather than act like a hollow-tip FMJ (as in Wolf/Gold/Silver/Brown Bear JHP). I keep some as backup hog ammo; the correct medium being pork, and Tokarev don't care about the kudzu they like to hide in.

S&B and PPU actually load 7.62x25 hot like it is supposed too. the new made russian x25 was some weak shit.

Just a hypothetical here and a bit of an :optimistic: one at that but, if Biden loses in 2024 (which I kinda expect) and a Republican does get in and he's pressured to repeal this sanction by voters, do you think there's a possibility he could repeal the ammo sanction on China just as an additional thing? If Republican voters take enough notice of this for it to be brought up, could it also turn attention to shit like Norinco?

I don't like Canada being able to have gun shit that I can't. That's fucked up.

S&B also make 9x18

X to doubt. Dont get me wrong it would be nice but no one cares about actual shooters the GOP still have this idea of a rifle sitting over a fireplace they know
saying they standing up for gun owners gets them votes and thats all they care about.
