Someone having romantic nostalgia for dudes lumping the M1903 in WW2.if it wasn't for the project manager suggesting Colt's burst mechanism, it would have been a semi automatic only gun

it will be affordable eventually due to production numbers. only military rounds ever become "cheap" 9mm 38spl 45ACP 5.56 7.62 30-06 and so on.Interesting Garand Thumb on .277 Fury. I'm not too optimistic it'll ever be civilian friendly due to cost and the serious need for the suppressor. Sure is hard hitting though.
Counter point: 30-30. Also, because of the multi-piece case design, it will likely be inherently more expensive than comparable calibers with single piece cases.it will be affordable eventually due to production numbers. only military rounds ever become "cheap" 9mm 38spl 45ACP 5.56 7.62 30-06 and so on.
.30-30 has always been a hunting round (but was one of the cheapest) so did not benefit from the military industrial complex like the rounds i mentioned.Counter point: 30-30. Yeah that's why I said it was a counter point. A cheap round that was never used by the military, going against what you said about only military rounds becoming cheap..30-30 has always been a hunting round (but was one of the cheapest) so did not benefit from the military industrial complex like the rounds i mentioned.
The USMC Pentagon's Brass Orchestra didn't trust that newfangled (semi)automatic M1 Garand the Army was buying and using until midway thru WWII. The U.S. Army had the sense to replace their M1903s after WWI.Someone having romantic nostalgia for dudes lumping the M1903 in WW2.

Couldn't tell as you seemed to be implying it was the Army not the Marines who wanted to keep using M1903s.thatsthejoke.gif
Hey, hey! I just think Matt has a dumb opinion, I'm not writing an OP for that.I completely missed this because I have a low attention span, but in the Otis episode of TWIG with Matt of Fuddruckers they did reference everyone

Should have been Shasta cola.
Roy is definitely settling into the job. Audio mixing needs a little further work but the lav mics are definitely an improvement. The video is overall a little silly, but I feel the more interactive targets (soda bottle go "pop"!) make for a better demonstration for the lesson.
Paul is definitely the better shot between the two of them, though.
Roy out here flexing his boomer purchasing power.Should have been Shasta cola.
Roy posted an update about Paul in the comments of that video:
