I remember some of the early reviews of the P365 noted that the firing pin would drag downwards on the primer, eventually causing the firing pin to snap. They fixed that pretty quickly.

The hellcat does this too. Mine has a bit of striker drag. I think it's just an issue with that form factor. I should look into fixing it

Say what you will about Pajeets but those SMLEs in .308 that were imported 20 years ago were cool as fuck. Back in my day you could buy a South African battle pack of 250 rounds of 7.62 and a L2A1 for $200.

No clue about the GEN-12 but the Auto-5 is found on the secondhand market in varying kinds of fucked over due to improper friction ring arrangement. Excessive recoil kills the furniture, fore-end coming loose and nudging the barrel extension out, damage to the carrier, the bolt denting the rear of the receiver, etc.
Back when gunsmiths lived in sporting goods shops they could not keep up with the Remington automatics and there was a perpetual shortage of parts.

Shotguns peaked with the Spencer 1882 and eventually hit the sweet spot with the 590, autoshotties get out

As I've posted about previously, and as been covered by the forum's favorite fat lawyer Potentially Criminal, there's been an update to Fudd Buster's suit against Cody Wilson.

Recap: Mr. Fudd Buster copywrote his 3d printable .22 Hitch Hiker single shot firearm and had references to that copywrite in his documentation/files. Wilson stole this and sold it for money on his site. Mr. Fudd Buster did his due diligence and documented this and decided to file suit for a number of claims, primarily copyright violations. Wilson is alleged to have in the past hid his assets in his companies to avoid monetary judgements being effective, Mr. Fudd Buster has filed shit to try and counter this as well in his main pleading so he can get that money.

Wilson filed a counter suit and among other claims says Mr. Fudd Buster and friends are racketeers and has requested a LOT of information for discovery. Which would drag a bunch of normal (as normal as 3d2a people can be) psudo-anonymous people into this case.

Mr. Fudd Buster and friends filed recently to say hold up, wait a minute, lets decide some of these other matters, like if they're even a valid party to be included in these counter claims before we go on this fishing investigation for Wilson. The court has just come back a few days ago to say, lol lmao enjoy discovery hell lawyer child.
I wish there were more law fags covering this, because as a layman, I'm retarded, but I know some juicy law drama when I see it. Every major filing is very entertaining. This was supposed to be an easy peasy lemon squeezy copyright case, but now Wilson has thrown an autistic wrench in the whole thing and the collateral damage is spreading. As a final note, this case is supposed to be done at some point in 2026, it was started in Sept. 2024. With Wilson and his legal council's aggression (his layer has been described as a lolcow in his own right) coupled with cagey 3D2A people, the real fireworks could just be getting started.

Making another post because it's kinda big. PROTRABAND is claiming a whistleblower shared a document with him describing how p320s post upgrade can still fire. He links a document from ICE in the description as a google doc. As much as it's funny to shit on sig I am very skeptical of this.

Recently a document was shared with me from someone whom believe to be a trustworthy source, and in it, a highly experienced and qualified Firearms Career Professional lays out their claims that, given force subjected at an appropriate angle and magnitude, they can make ANY post-upgrade 320 Discharge, on either the first, second, or third impact. The exact date of this article is unknown, but, based on real-world events referenced therein, believe it to be from approximately late 2023 or early 2024.

The author also claims that they provided "Truthful Disclosures of a UD Firing" document to ICE Management, OPR and OSC to no avail. Remarkably, the author also notes that ICE OFTP conducted a reliability test on the SIG P320, and were supposedly able to fire 60,000 (sixty-thousand) rounds without a single malfunction.

This is Statistically, if not Literally, a Nearly-Impossible Feat. My source also claimed that many inside don't trust the OFTP. They mentioned that guys are purchasing their own 365's, or Glocks, as they don't fully trust the P320. They also stated that they knew two separate individuals who both experienced a holstered P320 discharge - and they noted the commonality between the two was that they both had higher round COunts.

Remarkably, I was also informed that the OFTP recalled all HK MP5S and replaced them with the SIG MPX, WITHOUT an Open Solicitation or "shoot off". All of the issued optics are said to be SIG as well... It is apparent to me that we have reached a Crisis of Confidence level across State and Federal Law Enforcement officers regarding the safety and reliability of the Sig P320. Statements from SIG do little to quell concerns among gun owners, (indeed, recently having the exact opposite effect.) especially in light of recent Jury verdicts and Video Footage from across our Country.

Just my two cents is that if all the rumors of of Sig's shady dealing to acquire all these government contracts are to be believed then there's alot of people who would be pissed if some old boomer fucked with their extra cash flow. The brand of conservatism that says you can’t criticize anything that anyone on the right does to not give the left more ammo is so retarded. For starters they never apply this logic to the person actually doing the retarded thing. In the case of SIG if they had just implemented decent QC they wouldn’t be in the situation where gun control activists can use their manufacturing defects to push gun control.
