General GunTuber thread

The French rifle book was printed in 2019, before the start of the Endless Coof. Whatever printing house Ian worked with before may be either out of materials, marking up their services, or saving up what they have for more lucrative end-of-year contracts. Between having to print in China and dealing with tier national autism, and having to delay the book possibly indefinitely, he's made his choice. So while I don't personally like this outcome, I don't think it's bullshit.

If they're out of paper or out of business, or they just don't want the business... then those are all great reasons.

However whichever company he used, produced several different versions of the book all to a very high standard. They also facilitated him with proof copies, visits to the shop floor, and the ability to sign unfinished sheets before they were bound.

In the UK, there are people that describe themselves as Print Brokers, who have gotten into vanity publishing, usually sourcing the work in central Europe. I wonder if that's what he's done, he'll have no direct contact with the Printers at all, he probably won't even know the name of the company, everything will go through the broker.

I mean at the end of the day you get what you pay for. I was always surprised that he never actually named the firm that printed the first book, I wonder if it was just a personality clash.

I'm also really surprised he admitted, that there were problems with the Chinese printers and the content of the book. How many people hearing that for the first time went... Duh

I think it's just a matter of it not being relevant to his audience. No one who's not printing large amounts of high-quality old media really cares who's doing the printing. They care about the publisher, and many publishing houses completely outsource their printing to industrial printers, often in other countries. Headstamp Publishing itself owns no large-scale printing equipment. So Ian telling his audience that WePrintStuff Corp out of Buttfuck, Montana printed his book does no one any good if WePrintStuff Corp out of Buttfuck, Montana has a minimum order size of 25 thousand pages and is booked solid printing end-of-year shopping catalogues.

And anyway, if you really wanted to know where the books were printed I'm sure that's on the book's own credits page. Did anyone here buy the book and can give us a photo of that page?

I'm also really surprised he admitted, that there were problems with the Chinese printers and the content of the book. How many people hearing that for the first time went... Duh
Why is it surprising that he "admitted" to there being problems? From what I could see there he was just being forthcoming with the issues the book is having, same with what he did with the French rifle book.

New Q&A from Karl. and the first thing I notice is it looks like Phagan lost weight and that Karl found it.

Most surprising of all this Q&A is actually good. All gun related content, specifically related to the logistics behind setting up competitive shooting matches. No dumb meme questions no veering into dumb political shit. Hell, if Karl could keep his Q&As like this in the future his channel would probably do better.

Only real interesting tidbit though is that Karl reveals he's pretty much given up competitive shooting and only does it now when it's related to Inrange or Desert Brutality.

Probably because his antics have made him unwelcome at most matches in Arizona if what @WinchesterWhiskey has said is anything to go by.

What is it with these idiots screwing around with meme loads next to their face. For the love of god, string exists. Hell Brandon Herrera for all his stupidity figured that out with the AK-50
You know there is something deeply wrong with Custom Memeload Guntube when Brandon Fucking Herrera looks like Ralph Nader in comparison.
