I wish Russ would understand that no one is saying the FA is a complete necessity. We’re just saying that sometimes…It works. Karl just can’t admit that he’s wrong…Ever!
This is what stops me from getting a WWSD. Not because I like the FA or any of the stuff he said in that “The WWSD isn’t for you” post.
I’m not getting one cuz I don’t want a single Penny of my money to go into Karl’s pocket.

I think there's too much effort for a parody. Someone really put some work into this bullshit. Unfortunately the channel seems to be basically dead with no new videos in two years.

I really think this was some boomer who thought they were God's gift to guns and prepping and decided to grace the world with his knowledge and was immediately roasted by everyone and just rage quit after a while.

Also you should check out his best gun for the apocalypse video.
it's the raging judge Magnum
It's not a parody. What you are seeing is leftist subversion. The accent is fake. It's like Beau of the Fifth Column. The colors of the channel profile picture are red and black. The main attack in that video was against "wannabe soldiers". Who makes up the majority of these so called wannabe soldiers? There's your answer.
I guess he learned his lesson from going after Botkin, that lesson being that he should only pick on guntubers with less internet clout than he does.
Perhaps, but according to this video even his criticisms of Lucas Botkin were wrong.

Karl doing a press check on an AR.

Would be nice to have a FA in this situation to make sure it's in battery.
You could potentially use the cutout in the bolt carrier by pushing on it with your thumb, but jesus that'd be hot after a couple rounds.

EDIT: Of course that's what he suggested, really how is that any better than using the FA to press check?

Run Through The Jungle, Bad Moon Rising, Sympathy For The Devil, All Along The Watchtower, Surfin' USA, Thick As A Brick, basically anything from Zeppelin or Floyd.

There's so much good music from that era which you could slot in, the only saving grace about the shitty chip tune they used was that it sounded so little like Fortunate Son I didn't recognize it at first.
Electricity or Oh Well are more than apt as Vietnam songs too.

Garand Thumb posted a video on recce rifle setups and look at who showed up.

Oh so he didn't steal the concept from Frank Woods now?

Ian can't help himself when it comes to wonky guns. I remember feeling the same way when he reviewed that other handgun where the company went out of business a year later.
That H9 that him and Karl would not shut up about, god I loved it when they went out of business cause it shut them two up about an over priced PoS gun.

One of the guys at my range has a Hudson H9 and I got to try it out shortly after it came out. It's genuinely a very nice gun to shoot. Not sure it's worth the price they were charging, but that's small manufacturers for you. What really fucked them over was announcing a product that kneecapped the sales of their current product, though. Everybody who was interested in buying decided to wait for the new thing they had just announced, and the company (which was probably operating on a razor-thin budget already) folded because of it.

I own one.
It is a very nice gun.
I agree with your statement for the most part.
I think another problem they had was bing new guys and not understanding how to keep things running smoothly.
When it started to derail they ran out of money before they could get it back on track.
Last rumor I heard Daniel Defense (I think) bought the design and might restart production.
That was a few years ago now.

I just hate it cause all the damn guntubers would not shut up about it and I know it's not really a good reason to but damn I was so sick of hearing about you need to get this cause we say so kind of thing.

I believe a lot of the so called "hype" around the H9 was it actually had a touch of innovation behind it.
It was exciting because it really was something different in a sea of Gucci Glocks and $5000 M1911s.
Most wanted to see it succeed, myself included.
Other than just being smitten with the guns looks I purchased one hoping to help the Hudson's keep making something new and actually usefully different and not just some gimmick crap.

I don't know if it's a coincidence but if you look at Ian's last two waifu pistols, both sell themselves on a very low bore axis. I guess that's the only innovation left to crack after the aglockalipse hit.

I did notice and I think there really is something to it.
The real question is who ultimately cracks that nut and gets it right.
The alien might be the better idea of the two tho it's obviously a bit more complex and expensive.
The #1 problem I could imagine with the H9 is the long "hook" on the slide where the recoil spring sits breaking off with hard extended use.
The problem with the alien is the obvious abundance of ingress points for debris.
But I don't think the alien was intended to be a "combat" pistol.
