There's some grade A bullshit peddled at trade shows, and most of the time the people there are hired to be bullshit-artists, not to know the thing they're selling.I, too, yell at the cashier at McDonald's for giving me lukewarm french fries.

To be fair how fucking hard is it to get the fries right?I, too, yell at the cashier at McDonald's for giving me lukewarm french fries.
The comparison was hassling someone who did not sign up to be hassled and instead sell or advertise to the generic, smiling YouTuber who doesn't care. Whether or not that is good or healthy for the industry is a moot point when professionalism is thrown out the window for cheap laughs and snickering while a sales representative struggles to calculate the ballistic capability of a nerf football sliding through an unrifled barrel after being told recording has stopped.Bad analogy. Your analogy would be giving the clerk at the gun store counter grief because they decided to order stupid guns for inventory.
What Karl and Ian did the equivalent of trolling the sales rep for the company that makes the ice cream machines McDonalds uses that you know don’t work at a restaurant industry trade show. If you can’t take pushback in this context as a sales rep, you should probably find another line of work.
Also those ice cream machines are actually pretty good, the issue is that they're an absolute bitch and a half to clean. It's easier to lie and say the machine is broken since people swallow that excuse without question than to take the machine and add even more work to closing on a busy day, or to take a freshly cleaned machine and dirty it for a slow day.The comparison was hassling someone who did not sign up to be hassled and instead sell or advertise to the generic, smiling YouTuber who doesn't care. The truly patrician choice. In my absence, I am truly and utterly disappointed to find out there was a whole discussion of forward assists without me being in it. Also, a big reminder that extensive testing for the forward assist has been done, should render the whole argument moot. I'm sure Karl would still bumble his way like how the "Army forced it."Another thing about forward assists, I after having used a certain .22 in my collection for hunting squirrels that had a bad habit of not picking up the first round when loading with the bolt handle, I got paranoid about brass checking on all my guns. My AR loads fine, but when I brass check it, it won’t be in battery any more and hitting the forward assist is much easier and comfortable than putting my thumb in the dished cut in the bolt. Also both of my ARs have the A1 teardrop style buttons if that means anything to anyone
Reminds me of the "Youtube Commentary" community. Literally a bunch of people (some reaching their thirties) screeching about shit on the internetNavyman replied on Brass Fact's video
Dude's trying to take back what he said while still doubling down. "Maybe you two are soulmates" what a fag. On the same level as schoolyard fights.
Thankfully, I broke that habit and quit that game.In fariness to him, he has also done War Thunder Wehraboo meme vids, so he is an equal opportunity larper.

Russ, this is the snarky attitude that gets Karl into a trouble and why people troll him so much.Yeah I could see people not understanding the contextual difference between wandering past a trade show booth with stupid shit displayed to the world and trolling ignorant/oblivious reps and scheduling to meet a company rep to fire off destructive devices, or attending a live fire demo for government contractors. There might just be a slight difference in professionalism between talking to Mossberg about their Chainsaw pump and someone that makes rocket propelled grenades for the government.
And people genuinely do not understand the armament and defense contracting industry. People are mocking the Americanski RPG as if it's just a spur of nationalism, because there's perfectly serviceable tubes and rockets all over the world. Guess people don't think ITAR and the laws regarding defense acquisitions are a thing. On another note, I forgot that Forgotten Weapons fans had bleed over from InRangeTV. The whole comment section is full of people making fun of the dude showing the rocket launcher to Ian. The dude is being polite to Ian and they think Ian is subtly making fun of him. They’re using the time stamp as an example of Ian making fun of the dude when Ian is probably just putting that there to skip to the shooting because it’s a fucking RPG.
Idk, it’s just annoying to see people acting so uppity.
The game becomes unplayable at higher tiers. After a lot of grind I got my first jets, and kept playing without caring for the repair costs until I noticed I lost all my SL. The free repair at that point was 8-9 days worth of waiting. Fuck Gaijin. Even though I had fun at lower tiers I got so pissed off I just switched to DCS.Thankfully, I broke that habit and quit that game.
Yeah good luck getting any new Russki shit into the US now. There's a reason US companies are making crap AKs, it's because we can't buy good surplus AKs anymore. They should be thanking God someone is at least making a good replacement for Russian product. And people genuinely do not understand the armament and defense contracting industry. Not to mention that when you're out searching for tubes and rockets, you have to check if they're all compatible because there could be slight differences between production dates and country of origin. The tales about RPG-7 warheads blowing up when someone trips could probably be due to clones built in sand nations that omitted the inertial safety so you have to always mind the source of what you're getting. Even if you managed to get it all on US shores without any laws prohibiting you from importing them and selling them to the government, the DoD would still laugh in your face and tell you that none of that slavshit obeys any MIL-STD.Yeah good luck getting any new Russki shit into the US now. The big selling point for the PSRL is that it has modern optics and is compatible with all existing RPG-7 ammunition. The secret squirrel guys are wanting it because of that. the eastern bloc countries are interested as it is a cheap way to update their squad level anti tank and not have to surplus out existing stocks of rockets. Not to mention that when you're out searching for tubes and rockets, you have to check if they're all compatible because there could be slight differences between production dates and country of origin. Funny, I took a year hiatus and just got back into the A10C II this week. Head mounted HUD makes the A10 even more of a beast. Upgraded my slew sensor on my HOTAS for one of these and i wish I would have done it sooner.Even though I had fun at lower tiers I got so pissed off I just switched to DCS.
Two real reasons:I forgot to ask this on my diatribe, but what is the hate for on PSA ARs and PSAKs to begin with? I just see @White Devil wig the fuck out anytime someones mentions those supposedly accursed letters.
From my experience they're not that bad. I will admit, me and my father built our PSA AR-15 lower from the parts kit they sold, and bought the upper from them. So we did not buy a complete rifle, but around almost 10 years later, that rifle runs just fine after the 1000s of rounds we passed through it.
So is it an issue of just factory workers being niggers? and not building the complete guns right?
If it is an issue, does this issue extend to the PSAK as well? From what I can tell from complaints here are that the main issue is the front trunnion sucks dick and fitment is shit. Fair enough, as my experience is limited with PSAKs with only a few mags shot out of one a friend lended to me to try. The only two AKs I own are a WASR-10 and Pre-Obama import ban AMD-65.
PSA ARs are fine for the price, but with that said they are very much so the Hi-Point of the AR world. They work, mostly, and the warranty cannot be beat, but it's a crapshoot as to whether or not yours is one of the ones that got the proper attention from the quality assurance department or not. Honestly I'd still take a PSA over something like Bear Creek or DPMS but that isn't exactly a compliment.I forgot to ask this on my diatribe, but what is the hate for on PSA ARs and PSAKs to begin with? I just see @White Devil wig the fuck out anytime someones mentions those supposedly accursed letters.
Two real reasons:
1) PSA has QA issues and their customer support is fairly notoriously bad from what I've seen.
2) The way the AK trunnions are made (being cast) create an inevitable fail point within the metal itself. Imagine that you have a car with a known engine problem where the pistons will blow out of the engine block. The manufacturer knows it exists but keeps making it the same way. You could have that engine block survive 100 years or 100 seconds. You never know.
Century arms is also fully guilty of these.
Case in point.

That was a really good video. I sent it to my buddy who is anti-FA. Of course his reaction was "you will not convince me."
Yeah Ukraine started buying in 2017.The big selling point for the PSRL is that it has modern optics and is compatible with all existing RPG-7 ammunition. I'm actually considering just making my own HOTAS through arduino micro or leo bodnar boards, because it's the perfect justification to get a 3d printer. It'll pay for itself in one project considering how pricy they are.Upgraded my slew sensor on my HOTAS for one of these and i wish I would have done it sooner.
GF3 and onwards are forged. Their Gen 1 was cast, Gen 2 was machined from raw stock, Gen 3 onwards they use forgings. If I'm not mistaken, they were actually the ones who started doing forged front trunnions on domestic AKs after all the drama with cast trunnions, and Kalashnikov USA was the second. I might be wrong because I haven't kept up with the AK world.I was already aware of front trunnions being basically the heart and soul of a good AK and casting in general for applications that are under high loads is a bad time, but the fact that PSA trunnions are cast is completely new to me. Thanks for telling me.
