I've skimmed the autismo posting about overgassing in a DI system vis-a-vis the WWSD and it seems like the obvious solution is an adjustable gas block. If everyone is drilling too big because bathtub blend ammo is in style due to federales buying up all the stock so their federal land squatting unit can train for ruby ridge 2.0 and the department of education can train to gun down children, why not just put a meter at the actual point at issue rather than compensating with a 200 dollar adjustable buffer that has terrible granularity?
The fucking JP adjustable block on my DMR was half the cost of the buffer they're using and even with a less granular adjustment system would seem to fix all the problems that an overgassed system would cause that would require the adjustable buffer in the first place.
Like am I drunk and retarded or is this not the obvious solution?
Edit: it's not exactly hard to turn a screw left or right based on this chart.
