General GunTuber thread

Mr Snow has released a video on the King Cobra 9, in which he attempts to visually show the effects of the magnets:

There is no visually detectable difference (which he admits as much in a second part of the video).

It's also been confirmed that the KC9's special feature is using the magnets to deliberately grind the bolt against the rest of the gun - effectively making the gun itself a sacrificial part.
So what you're saying is that they've somehow made straight blowback more complicated and worse, with no redeeming features?

More complicated, yes, worse, probably.
Multiple people who have fired the gun claim it turns "snap" recoil into "push" recoil if that's important to you. Of course, this effect will be lessened once the gun itself wears from the internal action.

It's a bizarre version of straight blowback with a deliberately wearing design, which is a bit rich considering you can only build one with a custom $200+ bolt ordered from Derwood.
It certainly isn't delayed blowback, and the hyped name of "deleted blowback" is something of a joke now that we've learned about what it is and how (little) it works.

Now it was widely suspected beforehand but Herrera's Texas move has been all but confirmed to be about collaborating with BRCC dudes as this video has Mat Best all over it.

Also this is question is probably more appropriate in the Mega Rad Gun Thread but we get off topic into gun stuff all the time. Has anyone else noticed a lot more Leupold LCO's showing up in videos and gun media? If you have does anyone have an explanation? Because from what I understand the optic sucks and has been out of production for years, hell one is featured in the above video on the MCX which is why I am asking.

Speaking of the VSS, Flandre posted a video about the VSS and AK-12s making their way into the US.
It is possible that the parts kits were originally meant for blank firing so unless the bolts and trunnions on those were made from scratch, they're timebombs.

And people say you can't play Russian roulette with a semi auto.

BRCC might as well be AIPAC for gunbros/douchevets

That would be incredibly unsurprising; leave it to clout chasers to waste a physical reference that could be used to mill and manufacture actual parts.
Sidenote, is Brandon Herrera related to Dax Herrera(Dick Masterson) or is it just coincidence?

From what I've heard the LCOs aren't bad, not anything to write home about, but not bad either. Of course you also have to figure the Leupold producing that optic is just yet another mid-to-low-tier EOTech style holo brick in an already oversaturated market.

PS: I looked it up and according to their website they still make them, they're $700 though. Could be a BRCC sponser.

Considering that Flandre said he was just going to finish his build with Bulgarian trunnion and bolt, it shouldn't matter that much.
If it gets to the point we're going to have to manufacture more trunnions and bolts, it would be easier to use whatever existing specs are out there and are known to work than trying to reverse engineer an AK-12 when there's no point in trying to make domestic clones interchangeable with them. It's going to be several decades until they ditch the surplus AK-12s for some company to (((demill))) them and get an importer to buy that "scrap metal".

Last week he "didn't defend BRCC" on Rekieta's show.
The whole BRCC spergery is so fucking dumb. Everybody, left or right, is all about "it's a private company, they can do whatever they want" until said private company does something they don't like. Then everybody breaks out the torches and pitchforks no matter why.

Want to shit on BRCC? Their fucking awful coffee is a good start. The fact that they're a merch company first and a coffee company second should tell you everything you need to know about them. Them refusing to do something in order to cover their income (and being seen to officially sponsor Rittenhouse would definitely get their payment processor to dump them) is the smallest of their sins.

The problem didn't stop at Rittenhouse, the problem was what came next. Most likely because they wanted to go public, the CEO did an interview where he shat on the Proud Boys and Catholics. The midwit take is "he hates the Proud Boys, I'm not one of them so it's fine", the 80 IQ take is "oh shit I'm a Proud Boy so he means me" and the 120 IQ take is "oh shit he is talking about me because Proud Boys is just code for anyone who isn't a neocon". Then he came out with this totally real and not made up story where he was considering making a product with the St. Michael the Archangel imagery, and he was told that this was Hwuite Supremacist symbolism. We can call it cringe, but St. Michael is considered the patron saint of soldiers and first responders so there's a ton of veterans, firefighters and cops who carry with them those symbols in objects or even tattooed on their bodies.
I'm not crying any tears for offended cops but it takes a massive retard to openly call his own customer base a bunch of white supremacists just because he wanted to prove how much of a good boy he was to the NYT.

The CEO had his 'basket of deplorables' moment in a nytimes article. Anyone that kept buying their coffee merch after that deserves being separated from their money.
“You can’t let sections of your customers hijack your brand and say, ‘This is who you are,’” Best told me. “It’s like, no, no, we define that.” The Rittenhouse episode may have cost the company thousands of customers, but, Hafer believed, it also allowed Black Rifle to draw a line in the sand. “It’s such a repugnant group of people,” Hafer said. “It’s like the worst of American society, and I got to flush the toilet of some of those people that kind of hijacked portions of the brand.” Then again, what Hafer insisted was a “superclear delineation” was not too clear to everyone, as Munchel’s choice of headgear vividly demonstrated.
“The racism [expletive] really pisses me off,” Hafer said. “I hate racist, Proud Boy-ish people. Like, I’ll pay them to leave my customer base. I would gladly chop all of those people out of my [expletive] customer database and pay them to get the [expletive] out.” If that was the case, I asked, had Black Rifle — which sells a Thin Blue Line coffee — considered changing the name of its Beyond Black coffee, a dark roast it has sold for years, to Beyond Black Lives Matter? Surely that would alienate the racists polluting its customer base.
Hafer began to laugh. “You wouldn’t do that,” I ventured.
“I would never do that,” Hafer replied. “We’re trying to be us.”

Life long deep state uniparty literal CIA glowniggers. Of course they hate anything that threatens to be genuinely disruptive rather than yet another controlled op. Not that I think much of the Pride Boys who could only be any faggier if they started to worship an owl.

I think the issue "right wingers" take with the company is that the owner hates its target demographic(there are email leaks, apparently) which suggests any money going to that company will be used to undermine the American people.
Guntubers attract younger people who's politics don't line up with the GOPe. Advertising BRCC to ignorant baby boomer conservatives would have less pushback given how that demo loves GOPe policies.

The commodification of "right wing" movements.

Yeah, and let's not delude ourselves: there are a bunch of racist morons on the right. And I don't mean edgy "ha ha I'm gonna go on twitter and say nigger" little idiots, we see those same unironic racists here on the farms and not a small number of those associated with the Proud Boys before deciding that group also glowed. It doesn't matter how hard you go "ackshually, only a small handful of Proud Boys are racist", to the vast majority of the American public the movement's image is already irrevocably tainted. Yes, it's partially because of a pervasive media campaign (and partially because they're fucking morons), but it doesn't matter: the outcome is the same. The damage has already been done. Distancing yourself from a movement that might pull you into controversy when you actually have something to lose is just basic self-preservation.

We're in this really fucking retarded point in history where saying "I'm not racist" suddenly makes you a bad person to both sides of the political divide. It goes right back to this whole tribalist bullshit I was talking about. Just because I hate the Republicans only slightly less than I hate the Democrats, doesn't mean I have to like a bunch of morons like the Proud Boys, or any other "movement" that's as divisive and counterproductive as all the others.

What you’re missing is that no normie on the right has even heard of the Proud Boys. They are like Q-Anon, a small thing that the media turned into a massive leftist conspiracy theory. In Proud Boys case, they were picked by the media to be the ”fascist” villain antifa was supposedly fighting against, because antifa looks really stupid even to NYT readers if they are destroying Portland for no reason. More people on the left know about Proud Boys/Q-Anon than the right, so bringing them up in an interview with the New York Times (which no right wing business would ever give an interview to) shows that you are a leftist.

They're the Harley Davidson of coffee.
