I really liked Paul Harrell's video and it made me feel good knowing the things friends of mine have said in previous speeches, writing, and assorted projects are being pointed to again by someone who is generally respected.

Paul's video sort of got buried in the usual Kasarda sperg, but it's a very good video.

... actually, I don't even have anything else to say there. Sure, Harrell is incredibly long-winded as usual but I don't think he made a single point I would strongly disagree with. It was less a "here's how to fix shit" video and more a "we really need to debate this problem like goddamn adults" video, which is entirely correct.

Well apparently the video trended on the normie-side of youtube, because last I checked, recent comments were the usual shrill screeching about gun people committing mass shootings.

Yeah, it definitely went viral. That thing hit 150k views in one day, that's more than what Forgotten Weapons usually gets in the same period and Paul's channel is a third the size of Ian's.

The newest comments aren't that shrill at the moment. Most are actually positive. You could probably track when the video was shared in different communities by how the tone of the comments fluctuates over time.

Next step is ensuring that The Crew are able to prevent Paul from making a point-by-point followup debunking every single brain-dead comment. There were also a handful of Fake Sandy Hook spergs who got triggered by Paul's call to shun such lunacy (how a conspiracy theorist can be so blue-pilled that they would assume that a government agency would never deliberately place innocent people into harm's way is beyond my intellect).

I know right? The idea that the US Government would use fake children makes no sense when we know they have no compunction against killing real live children all the time in ATF and DEA raids. And those aren't even plausibly deniable with a patsy like mass shootings are.

That shit will NEVER stop flooring me. ACTORS? Do you have any idea how much more complicated and sensitive that makes the entire plan? Every single crisis actor would be a loose end that could unravel the entire thing, the entire conspiracy is made infinitely easier by murdering people for real.

I fucking hate schizos so goddamn much, they're easily one of the worst aspects of the internet.

Every time I see people pushing those specific conspiracy theories, about the government somehow swearing thousands of people to a lifetime of secrecy when using a single agent to commit the crime in question would do the same thing, I'm reminded of this sketch:

Every time I see people sperg about crisis actors, especially as it pertains to Sandy Hook, my first thought is that they're running deflection either willingly or unwillingly by making conspiracy theorists as a whole look unhinged.

No one needs to make conspiracy theorists as a whole look unhinged. The conspiracy theorists do that perfectly well on their own, without any help.

It's one thing to claim that the government was involved in a tragedy, either maliciously or through incompetence being covered up. That's never completely out of question, because we know our government. It's a completely different matter to claim that a well-documented event with dozens (if not thousands in the case of 9/11) of deaths associated with it simply did not happen and was instead all a piece of misdirection with actors and CGI and that no one actually died and all those families have been paid off without a single deathbed confession or media leak in 10, 20 or 30 years. That is a great way to get your entire argument, any any future arguments you make, dismissed out of hand.

Yeah that's what I'm saying though. The people that go so far as to claim that shit which clearly happened straight up didn't happen are making reasonable people who think that maybe the official story is a bit fishy look like psychos. Like it or not this suits the needs of TPTB as it makes the mainstream less likely to question things due to the perception of people who question things being retards and schizos, and putting forth your own whackadoo conspiracy to get ahead of the curve and send the crazies into fits is a great way to do that. Especially if the actual schizos and psychos start building on top of whatever crazy bullshit you cooked up is, bonus points if they start interleaving other conspiracies into it too. I'm not saying that they actually fake things, just that they can make it up that they are.

I'm sure it has happened more times than the government would admit, but having had the misfortune of having dealt with more diagnosed schizophrenics than I would care to admit... I can safely say these people really don't need help from the government to come up with their batshit insane theories. There's enough conspiratorial bullshit in the modern zeitgeist (much of it created by the previous generation of schizos) due to the internet to fuel crazy people's theories without any further interference.

The internet has allowed for a critical mass of insanity to be reached far too easily. (ETA: and the fact that everybody and their dog is mentally ill these days due to social isolation and political polarization does not help in the slightest.)
