General GunTuber thread

I just wish the G11 had been a viable gun to begin with. Then the Germans would be bitching about their ammo melting, instead of just their barrels.
There's an alternate universe where the German government got a big enough bribe to mass produce the G11, and Ukrainians are now receiving 1000s of kilos of retarded pepperbox-style caseless ammo guns that nobody knows how to use or service.

Isn't that pretty much what happened with all those French SPGs Macron sent?

You laugh, but if the Germans had somehow adopted caseless you can bet your ass we would have been rushing to imitate them within a year. And then we'd have a bunch of goatherds in Afghanistan trying to figure out how our abomination of a caseless rifle works.

Problem is they thought the KISS principle didn't need to apply to the G11 when it was designed and built.

In fairness to Uncle Sam and the U.S. gun industry almost any caseless gun, ammunition and magazine adopted would've adhere to the KISS principle.

In taking a break from laughing at the fatass that is Karl Cucksarda, let's not forget how in his earlier days, the legend that is Paul Harrell did a presentation on drive-bys for our urban brothers.

So, this begs the question: is he a Crip or Blood?

My opinion? He's an O.G.
It always fascinated me the level of access he has to, if not totally sweet, then at least solid vintage muscle. He is Super Boomer.

Jesus Christ, Paul! Many moments (for instructional purposes only) are had.
I'm on the market for a new .22 plinker and that one looks good. I might look into it, I've got a red dot lying around that would look good on it, too.

And in this case it was Paul's own damn fault he didn't tighten the sight enough. He knew the thing was loose and he chose not to tighten it all the way. If he had tightened it harder and the tool had snapped, then I absolutely would have blamed the rifle for it. It would have been either a malfunction or a design flaw. But the guy did the equivalent of mounting an AK slide rail mount and not turning the lever all the way, and then complaining that his scope fell off firing full auto. That poor gun died for his sins.

Having finally read through the thread, it's quite heartening to see that Karl's retardation is at least being catalogued and laughed at somewhere. I felt like I was taking crazy pills from people just seemingly giving his lunacy on social media a pass. I shoulda figured other farmers would be thinking similarly.

They/them pussy is the fentanyl of western masculinity.

A dab of blue loctite (generally not a terrible idea on adjustable irons anyway) and this becomes a mostly positive review.

No no, see Paul just had to execute the rifle. CRITICAL FAILURE!

This escalation of absurdity in his videos is going places.
like lolcow places, or something else? I don't really care that he destroyed the gun because it's new and pretty inexpensive and not going to somehow be unobtanium in the near future. Also Ian has gone back to his roots with the newest video for all of you bitching about him.

If you ever needed a blatantly obvious display of Paul's autism, that's it.

The man would rather destroy a rifle he had up to that point been quite well-disposed towards than risk breaking a small, cheaply-replaceable Allen wrench.

Never change, Paul. Never change.

I don't dislike the man nor his Shatneresque pauses but his autism is showing hardcore.
Jokes are one thing, shooting a watermelon without looking at it is, while admittedly cool, another, but shooting at a gun because the sights slight him is letting the mask slip. Not to mention his video responses(although well done) and picking fights in the comments.

I think Paul is brand-conscious enough to understand the kind of persona he gives off and may be tempted to play it up. Shooting guns he hates could become his analog to cans.wav.
I would have accepted this argument if not for that reply in the comments. He's clearly still pissed off.
