Non-captive takedown pins are a terrible design choice as they can be lost during cleaning if you aren't 100% aware of their location. The KP-15 Lower, or the Cav Arms Mk III as it was originally marketed pre-production, is overpriced and bad.

I really don't give a shit what people want to carry, don't care about the gun, the caliber, the round in specific. But you're going to be held accountable for collateral damage, so, a competent person should be keeping that in mind.
