I won't fault Ian much at this point: it's rather clear that some part of his business is working on fumes and between the scams, the endless shilling and the low quality/bait videos (his recent work on the Makarov to prop another one of the mug scams was so haphazard and even flat-out wrong to be embarassing) I am, god forbid, starting to re-evaluate Kasarda. At least Karl choose to die on the tranny hill and did no compromises, Ian is selling out like the cheapest whore.
Some of it is his own doing. I’ve got a few weird oddball guns and I sent him a couple of emails a few years ago asking if he wanted to do a video on them. Never heard back. What’s more telling is I know for a fact he doesn’t reach out to major firearms/ammunition manufacturers to see if he could get a peak inside their vaults. I’m sure Remington/S&W/Winchester/Federal have some weird one offs buried in their vaults.Isn't the whole point of Varusteleka that they ship to Muttland? I always just used local websites.
I have a feeling the Chink Flu took a lot more wind out of his sails than anyone would expect, him included. I know that Othais had a lot of shit planed for 2020 and took inhuman effort to re plan just a few of those things for 2023. And in some recent video Ian did mention that he would like to take a look at some x gun in Europe if he could go there. It's quite telling that besides the macaroni videos what he is putting out is stuff that he has filmed and saved for some time and the macaroni and other hap hazard guns from his collection are there to bide time until he can get more stuff.
Though he has appeared in person with Jonathan from Royal Armories so one can assume he got access to that again. Also everyone has kept calling the giveaways a scam but I sincerely doubt someone with his level of notoriety would run something soo blatant since it's just begging for trouble.
Conductor we have a problem.Provided you're not using some gucci'd up glock with NIGGERKILLER3000 engraved on the side you will hopefully be okay.
It's not a scam since someone gets the gun but it is tacky as fuck if you look at that awful boomer getenteredtowin website.Isn't the whole point of Varusteleka that they ship to Muttland? I always just used local websites.

Did he accidentally post his april fools video early? Between this, all the shitty gun ads, and tacky giveaways i'm starting to wonder if Ian stopped giving a shit about the original purpose of his channel; archiving cool, unique and interest firearms throughout history. I get a mans got to eat but between ad-sense and all the subscription service stuff he does, he has to be making some good money.Ian reviewed the UNSC’s shotgun:
I've met a fair few finns, honestly, they're quite bland people and i feel bad saying that because i've never actually had a bad experience with one. For history dorks their notoriety comes 100% due to the winter war. Outside of those circles they're mostly known for having a "crazy drinking culture" (which i would argue is pretty tame compared to even some central european countries) as well as being very gruff outdoorsman types, especially north of finland. The fascination from Americans before the Ukraine War came from the image of Finland itself. How beautiful the lakes and forests are, the cleanliness of the country, its top education system, its universal healthcare and its welfare state. A principal modern European nation. Finland also had this strangeness to it. Finns spoke a barely pronounceable language, and had a Nordic quaintness to their way of life. This would help with the allure. Now with the Ukraine War and NATO membership, that's all still there but Finland's history of fighting the USSR is put much further into emphasis. Before, you wouldn't mention it, because pointing it out would inevitably point out that Finland was an Axis member and thus fought with the evil Nazis! which was just asking for trouble with Americans. Now it boosts Finland's image to its allies.
Also I wonder if Ian is ever gonna do proper gun engineering/smithing lectures. His educational videos on the principles and mechanisms behind firearms are some of my favorites.

It's probably a case of the algorithm fucking with the videos. iirc Ian had an issue with his shooting range videos where automatic fire would trigger some who-knows-what in the algorithm making the video age-restricted/demonetized, but semiautomatic fire wouldn't.Also when the fuck Youtube decided that gun disassembly and magazine change were forbidden subjects? What the hell?
This is possible, but a lot has been hollowed out over the years. The scandal around the Colt collection is well known. The Winchester collection was winnowed down starting in the 70s - you'll see pieces up for auction with the aluminum stamped "W" asset tags. Many that weren't sold on the market ended up at the Winchester Museum, which is now the Cody Firearms Museum - and thus gets covered by Ian. Similarly a lot of Remington museum pieces have ended up on the market, and those will hit auction now and then.I’m sure Remington/S&W/Winchester/Federal have some weird one offs buried in their vaults.

Love him, one of my favorites. Not only is he very easy listening and you can basically put on in the background while doing other stuff, he's got to have some of the most informative, in depth, and detailed videos on more firearms variations than I've seen anywhere else outside of Ian.To change subjects, two things: what's the opinion on Mishaco? I quite like the guy despite (or maybe thanks) to his non-existent production values. Ian is going to full boomercore scams, C&Rsenal despite being well-researched is really starting to get on my nerves between Mae and the terrible unfunny jokes. One has to appreciate simplicity.
Chamber this in .22, pls.Latest update on the M1337 V1 a mostly 3D printed 5.56x45 gatling gun, it werkz.

Damn, I actually thought Paul's cancer was mostly a non-issue for him but I guess it suddenly ramped up.Meet Roy, Paul Harrell's brother, who will be giving presentations in Paul's stead. Paul seems to be in good spirits, but looks can be deceiving. I fucking hope he pulls through.
I believe he has Pancreatic cancer? The survival rate on that is terrible, probably the worst of them all. Sucks.Damn, I actually thought Paul's cancer was mostly a non-issue for him but I guess it suddenly ramped up.
