General GunTuber thread

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Fuck, that's a smart idea, I should try doing that if I get a Mauser again.
What do you do with the fucked powder afterwards? Flush it down the toilet or make some kind of pyrotechnic out of it?
I usually light it on fire on a stump or rock, but last batch I did was when Ms. Confederate Woman was pulling bullets with me. I made a homemade bottle rocket out of it by wrapping it in wax paper and lit it off.

Brandon and F1nn5ter have both been guests on the PKA podcast before so thats a possible connection. Not on the same episode iirc, but it wouldn't surprise me if Kyle(FPS Russia) mentioned F1nn to Brandon at some point. Kyle has/had an infatuation with F1nn when he first started cross dressing.
Ah I KNEW something was off with FPS Russia

He's probably a tranny chaser and a gigantic degenerate. We already know he's retarded.

Addendum, from searching around I have found one website that purports to be Graf and Sons but I do not believe it is legitimate. So, while Graf and Sons is a legitimate business, make sure you're using the actual website. I am at least 99% sure the one I linked is the real site since it's listed on their social medias and on Schutzen's website.
The one in your link is quite real. I can physically drive there.

it's trivial to make a small batch of half-decent blackpowder just for priming a pan.
but powder has been on perpetual back-order everywhere I've looked, even online (or it's exhorbitantly priced).
In ALL of Argentina there are zero BP manufacturers despite most federal gun ranges having a BP club, there used to be a single guy making it and selling it on our equivalent of Amazon (Mercado Libre) but after he died no one has picked the ball so usually each club has their own dedicated autists who make it at home.

The best tutorial series on YouTube comes from a lesser known channel called Everything BlackPowder, he actually goes pretty damn indepth with the process even having a miniseries where he makes carbon out of random shit to see what works (best so far is toilet paper lmao).

Another YouTube policy change on YouTube which restrict making content on firearm.
Archive of the Policy

What this means for you

If you're posting content

Don’t post content on YouTube if the purpose is to do one or more of the following:

  • Sell firearms or certain firearms accessories through direct sales (e.g. private sales by individuals) or links to sites that sell these items. These accessories may include:
    • Accessories that enable a firearm to simulate automatic fire,
    • Accessories that convert a firearm to automatic fire, such as: bump stocks, gatling triggers, drop-in auto sears, or conversion kits,
    • High capacity magazines or belts carrying more than 30 rounds.
  • Provide instructions on manufacturing any of the following:
    • Firearms,
    • Ammunition,
    • High capacity magazines,
    • Homemade silencers/suppressors,
    • Accessories that enable a firearm to simulate automatic fire,
    • Accessories that convert a firearm to automatic fire, such as: bump stocks, gatling triggers, drop-in auto sears, or conversion kits.
  • Provide instructions on how to convert a firearm to automatic or simulated automatic firing capabilities.
  • Provides instructions on how to install the above-mentioned accessories or modifications.
  • Provides instructions on how to remove certain firearm safety devices, such as a device that limits the release of a magazine. This does not include removal of a device used to temporarily disable a weapon like a gun lock.

Please note this is not a complete list.

Age-restricted content

Sometimes content doesn't violate our policies, but it may not be appropriate for viewers under 18.

  • Content showing use of a homemade firearm (e.g. 3D printed gun), an automatic firearm, or any of the below accessories:
    • Accessories that enable a firearm to simulate automatic fire
    • Accessories that convert a firearm to automatic fire, such as: bump stocks, gatling triggers, drop-in auto sears, or conversion kits
    • High capacity magazines
    • Homemade silencers/suppressors
  • Examples (non-exhaustive):
    • Firing a 3D printed firearm
    • Firing a fully automatic rifle
    • Firing a firearm with a high capacity magazine

These guidelines apply to real use of firearms and may not apply, for example, to use of firearms in artistic content such as a film. We may also make exceptions for public interest content such as military or police footage, news footage, or footage from warzones.

Examples

Here are some examples of content that isn’t allowed on YouTube.

  • Links in the title or description of your video to sites where firearms or the accessories noted above are sold. You can link to sites that discuss or review the items as long as those sites don’t sell or give away those items directly.
  • Displaying a firearm with the intention to sell that firearm via private sale. This includes giving the seller’s phone number, email address, or other contact information.
  • Showing users step-by-step instructions on how to finish a lower receiver in order to complete fabrication of a firearm.
  • Showing users how to make a silencer out of a flashlight, oil can, solvent catcher or other parts.
  • Showing users how to install a bump stock, or install a comparable accessory built to enable simulated automatic fire.

  • Live streams that feature someone holding or handling a firearm, regardless of whether or not they are firing it. Note: this does not include firearms in video games.
  • Live streams that feature someone transporting firearms from place to place, such as by carrying them or traveling with them by car, truck, or other vehicle. Note: this does not include firearms in video games.

Please remember these are just some examples, and don't post content if you think it might violate this policy.

I don't really have much to add to this other than "What the fuck?" to the changes, namely the livestream ones.
I do hope Guntubers push back anyway they can instead of bitching about it and paywalling even more content on terrible 'YouTube alternatives"

The livestream restrictions on handling firearms have existed on YouTube for awhile. They got added after a guy went on a livestreamed spree shooting in Cleveland a few years ago iirc. That's part of why everything's on Instagram and companies like Geissele use Twitch for gun handling livestreams.

Grifters need to grift, it's a compulsive disorder. They'll bash the NRA while acting just like them.
How do you guys think they're able to push back? Remember the YouTube union? Even the Leviathan Group boogeyman doesn't have enough pull to alter YouTube policy.

On the topic of Reno May and LG, he's still seething about it in random comment sections.

(This was under Ben Stoeger's unboxing video of the new Vortex red dot, LG was not mentioned and Stoeger isn't affiliated with them as far as I know)

I don't know how they would, but I don't think running with their tails between there legs every time Youtube fucks them over is going to get them anywhere. Maybe just tank the limited ads/age restriction for certain videos and keep making the content they want, They may not get payed for X video, but neither will Youtube.

A better idea would be to promote ad blocking extensions and browsers to their viewers. If millions of youtube users start blocking all ads, not just on guntuber videos, youtube will see a serious drop in ad revenue.

Youtube has the ability to detect if you're using adblock

They gave up after a couple of weeks because all their changes to the API were patched by Brave and UBlockOrigin within an hour. Freetube still works too. Google's Pajeet coders are garbage and if they keep trying to block adblockers they will break Youtube.

To my knowledge all of these rules were already in place and more. Some people seem to get away with breaking them for no reason other than luck of the draw. Others have been slapped hard for minor infractions.

Note it says that this is not a complete list. They will never give a complete list. You just have to imagine what will upset them next and never do that. It's like dating an immature woman.

We still get issues showing WWI MGs, bc some YouTube censor thinks they were converted to auto... or that showing the selector is somehow telling people how to modify for auto.

Utoob doesn't care about any perceived pushback from the gun community.
It's relatively small in reality.
All guntubers could leave today and they would have a party to celebrate it.
It's an ideological stance for them and they probably believe that this community should be worshipping their farts for simply allowing them to exist on the platform at all.

Yeah, the motive for sidelining gun content is entirely ideological. They don't give a shit about any loss that isn't going to be significant to begin with.
