I'd doubt since if you want a duty rifle and you're going 5.56 there's no point to get anything other than an AR. It would be cheaper to buy, maintain, and most people are already familiar with the controls. The only reason to get a Bren would be to get a duty rifle in 7.62x39 and I doubt any major law enforcement agencies are going to be doing that anytime soon.

I'm sure there wouldn't be much work involved in configuring it for .308 blackout. Several nations police forces are buying it for the lower penetration characteristics.

I doubt Matt has had any experience with someone suffering from autism or aspergers but, even if he supposedly discussed sarcasm on the internet with him, Karl is known for insulting people in the same exact way. His thinly veiled offense shielded by mocking laughter is all-too common when looking at what he's done, as seen here where people are calling him a faggot for playing with a Ouija board.
