it doesn't block the handle unless you're putting it super far back. it's meant to be 3-4 slots forward of the rear, enough for a back up folding sight if you want. putting it more forward also lets you put nose to charging handle (if you do that) and shorten the length of pull by half, accounting for armor and the more forward position of the optic.why is he complaining about it blocking the charging handle?
look at any picture of actual people using a SpecterDR and you can see this pretty handily. about the only people that use them that far back are machinegunners with the M145, or the Canadians (or Dutch) with the C79, and that has a completely different mount than the ARMS one in the video. ARMS intended the QD mount to work in conjunction with the ARMS #40 low profile flip up sight... requiring the optic moved forward on the rail.
