General GunTuber thread

Lot of ambiguity on what is/isn't a new permit as it applies to import ammo, and the fact some of its coming from Yugo and Ukraine. I'd pick some up while you can if you're light but if you're solid don't give into panic buying.
I'm dumping 2 large into 5.45 right now but unlike boomer niggers I actually lament zoomers and future generations not having ready access to ammo.

5.56 AKs > 5.45 anyway.

Faggots need to stop lying to themselves, the only reason 5.45 ever caught on over here is because 15 years ago it was the cheapest shit to shoot in bulk. So much that mfgs made 5.45 uppers for ARs.

Fellow AK74 chads what do we do? Nigger lover Biden banned the further importation of Russian ammo and as far as I know they were the only ones making 5.45 for the US markets.
The bill is only banning new importers from the market, those with the greenlight to import already will not be affected.

I'm a reloadingchad and have been for almost twenty years at this point but in all seriousness fuck the niggers in the fedgov. This shit has nothing to do with sanctioning rogue nations, it's just pure, unfettered faggotry orchestrated to make shit suck more.
Has reloading equipment started coming back on shelves yet?

On another note anyone ever watch Nikoesht?

Some videos are interesting.

If you wanted a 5.56 AK I hope you got it already. Cause I feel like you're going to have trouble finding them any time soon, with cheap 7.62x39 drying up.
Maybe maybe not, they were never cheap or widely available (at least in my neck of the woods) to begin with, and quite frankly with the popularity of the AR platform I don't think that will be too much of an issue any more than AK owners already being a bunch of incorrigible hoarders too begin with.

I'm not too scared about 7.62x39 as there are several non Russian countries making that round, but 5.45 is in danger because as far as I can tell Russia is the only place left with the tools for making 5.45 after Germany destroyed the East German tools for making them and the Novorussian nigger faggots destroyed the only Ukrainian site that made 5.45 there.

Cokeman weighs in on the recent ammo import ban.
It should be noted that a lot of imported steel case ammo comes from Ukraine and Romania anyway and in the long term production in those countries (and others) will supplant the loss of Russian ammo, but we are fucked in the short-to-middle term.

We should all be using AR-15s with full-auto bolt carriers so we can upgrade our lowers with captured M-16 lowers when the civil war kicks off in a few years. If you're fighting a guerilla campaign always use your enemy equipment and at this point the federal government has proven it is our enemy.
Let's please not fedpost.

Do not glow on a saturday morning. Also, I am not sold on the value of full-auto hand-me-down lowers that have probably been monkeyed with a hundred times.

I got my M85 for $500 dollars. That's cheaper than a lot of pistols nowadays. Certainly cheaper than my sub compacts. SLR-106s were similarly priced and SAR-3s and Saigas were, while not exactly "plentiful", still able to be found and affordable. Prices on 5.56 AKs didn't really start to climb until Obama's second term. I'm not trying to call you a liar, just simply saying these things have been here and they have been affordable until recently.

I didn't start getting into tactical guns until Obama's second term which probably has a lot to do with it.

I think 5.45 is still made in Romania, since I believe they still use the PM md. 86 (aka AIMS-74).

Incidentally, Romania has adopted and started production of the Beretta ARX 160 for their new standard rifle, so we might see some more PM md. 63 and PM md. 86 parts kits in the future, barring any more import restrictions fuckery from the Biden admin.
