Healing would be to let it close up. Which is for the best honestly, they would stop having the infected wound smell, which I've never smelled this particular wound but I don't think it's anymore pleasant than other infections.

Letting it 'close up" assumes it is a wound to begin with.
An "open wound" is an injury that allows outside microbes access to inside body spaces. Examples: a paper cut, scrape, splinter, broken blister, or surgical incision.
A closed wound does not open to the outside. Bruises, burns, unbroken blister.
All open wounds that are made during surgery are closed with sutures. Those heal over very quickly, enough that within a day or two they are not open wounds

I'm autistic enough to click each of the links ryu289 sent, so here's my review on his "choice cuts" of axe wounds.
The first one looks obviously nothing like an actual vagina (the outer and inner labia are fused??), and if you think that's fuckable, you're genuinely delusional.
The second one seems to have healed incorrectly and sealed itself up, since there are no pictures of the actual vagina (despite spreading the amhole open). Just the labia and gnarly looking clitoris. Even if you wanted to fuck the trench, you would be unable to, since there's no vag.
The third one (ETA) was confirmed to be shooped. Too many inconsistencies such as the vagina suddenly teleporting, the clitoris disappearing, artifacts still in the images, etc. Not a real neovagina, must be a particularly nasty one IRL given the unwillingness to keep the real one in a photo.
The fourth one isn't even trying to be convincing. It looks like a literal bullet wound and was the first one on this list to make me gag. If you want to fuck a bullet wound, you have a mental disorder.
The fifth one doesn't have a specific amhole picked out, so I believe you just threw in another link to fluff up the "list of axe wounds you'd stick your dick in." Unlucky for you, they all look festering and greasy due to ass juice, and several of them have visible necrosis/mold either inside or outside. The sixth one looks fucking disgusting (it looks more like an ear than a vulva) and the vagina doesn't even look large enough for penetration.
