Generation War - Like Band of Brothers but with Germans on the Eastern Front.

The part about the 2 brothers and the nurse is good, the rest is horrible.
They showed a jew plot that portrayed polish resistance fighters as le evil for not liking Jews, despite them being despised in almost the rest of eastern europe as well at the time). Then they made another plot about a roastie fucking some high ranking official and getting executed for some reason. These 2 plots only exist so that the Gerrmans can make a movie about their own people without spending every scene crying about Jews.
Just imagine The Pacific but every 10 minutes there is a scene of an american woman going "Oh God this all so horrible I really wish this doesn't end up with us destroying 2 of theirs cities, I would be so sorry and sad if we destroyed their cities and I hope future generations will forgive us for that. " . Then it continious to insert a scene of one of the MC shooting his superior, because he wanted him to shoot a japanese guerilla, who the MC just happened to meet 2 years earlier on Hawaii.
Germans in general hate their own history and ancestors so much that all german historical movies almost always suck ass, with Der Untergang/Downfall sticking out like sore thumb.
Comparing this german garbage to Band of Brothers or even The Pacific is an insult to the other shows. To be fair, I used to watch Band of Brothers and The Pacific with my dad when I was around 12 so I have a bit of a nostalgia bias when it comes to these shows. Still my point stands that I would rewatch Band of Brothers and The Pacific again but I will never watch this horse shit ever again.
