Basically a group ran by foodist that documented exactly what you describe and is linked to the NoLimitsFun group of ERP Roblox sphere that heavily pushes for pedophilic blacked roleplay using various accounts. Something significant to add to the UTTP situation, Penguinz0 and SomeOrdinaryGamers have made some videos that show CSAM promoting comments from the UTTP. The account has Discord CDN links in its bio that have actual CP on them.

I'm 99% sure that this is being purely done by 'Emperor Anime Sucks' or his old alias 'HYPER BAT MAPPING'. From what I heard from within the UTTP itself, it seems to be his circle and whoever helps him that does that. I don't think the other UTTP groups do the same thing and nothing I've seen even from within the other UTTP groups themselves is indicative of that. They all seem to detest him and the fact that he's effectively killed the group in the long-term with its actions.

For awhile now I've been meditating on the nature of Gooning. If you're on kiwifarms you likely are familiar with the term, and the degenerates whom unironically use it. The gooner is suffering and trying to compensate for some sort of psychological deficit or wound. A wound which is a result of the dysfunction that has completely infected our culture.

One of the difficulties of dealing with addicts is that they feel a really horrific amount of shame surrounding their addiction which keeps them in a cycle of abusing themselves and the people around them. The whole acceptance movement is sort of a materialization of this shame, they believe they'll alleviate their guilt by "acceptance" in society. But they fail to realize that the pain they're feeling is wholly internal, and is actually deeper then their addiction/gooning.

In eastern folklore the souls of greedy and compulsive people were believed to remain on earth in a state of suffering/hunger beyond that which a human can experience. They'd have an insatiable hunger for a particular object that's related to their personal agony, and are damned to this existence for eternity. Unless their family were to preform rituals which would guide the lost soul into the afterlife.

Dopamine is the neurotransmitter associated with salience, if there is no meaning being given from the higher order needs, the brain will seek it in the satisfaction of base desires.

I don't agree with Jordan Peterson on the whole, but I do think the rise of Postmodernism has dismantled some essential structures that a functional society provides. The collective acceptance that truth is relative, and that there is nothing actually meaningful in the world at all, essentially kills a common cause around which people have organized since the beginning of time: the pursuit of truth, or knowledge. Postmodernist ideas were born out of that searching for truth. In that sense, it hadn't offended me when I thought about it ten years ago. However, I do now believe it contributed to the a precipitous drop into cynical nihilism and tribalism that we see today. It seems apparent only now that the combined forces of secularity (I won't atheism sperg here) and relativism have crippled both religion and higher education. What left is there but to goon?

It really isn't just lack of community/church. It's that the guard rails for what is considered immoral/unethical behavior have steadily been lowered for the past decades. Degen stuff is like an addictive pathway, especially since a lot of it is a dysfunctional version of the mind's desire for novelty...what gives someone a thrill the first time they do it will become banal and they have to up the ante. Pair that with the fact there are communities around this introducing different bullshit to each other and encouraging worse behavior and it's a no brainer why it's so fucked up.

Largely, more so than a vague "muh community" is the lack of any real family structure. Parents have very little input to their children's upbring or lives. They're put into day care for hours a day, they're put into schools for hours a day, they're made to go to summer camps and extra curricular activities, while some of these things are good in small amounts, you have generations of people disconnected from the natural upbringing a human is meant to have--spending the first few years very close to the mother and getting most of their social learning and even education about skills necessary for their society from the parents, extended family, close family friends/neighbors. We have a large number of people disconnected from their families, themselves, and basically taught to exist in a constant state of dissociation. It's not a brain teaser to figure why kids are so fucked up and act out.

The questions to ask are "why does life feel meaningless to me?", "why can't I find meaning where I expect it to be?", or "why are so many people living without meaning?." Meaning has never been easy, meaning has never not been personal, meaning has never been a magical solution to pain. People lived meaningful lives before any solipsistic search for truth began.

Post-modernism is a style invented by talentless academics following the war to exploit an imagined connection between beautiful art and nazism. The reason that this sort of mindset is so prominent is pretty much the online equal to the idea of the bullied nerd, except it is much more prominent because of its online nature. 9/10 times, when you peel back the layers on the kind of people behind these sort of posts/operations you'll find a male around the age 14-20 who has low self esteem, a troubled household, suffering from some sort of mental illness (gender dysphoria is very prevalent here) or a bullying victim. It's the 1/10 you have to actually be careful of, because there is no explanation for them other than just pure dark triad personality disorder, more often than not, sociopathy; however there are narcissists (in the cult/orbiter sort of things) and psychopaths (usually in the gore core scene) The problem in that isn't society has failed these men, regardless of the argument that society demoralizes men in their mid to late teens into being incel/degenerate pilled, but rather the failure comes down to the support circle of these young men failing to actually pay attention and be a decent support circle. The other fault comes with the young men themselves deciding to actually reflect their pain instead of trying to prevent it from happening again; however, that's just normal human psychology. Agree completely, my question was rhetorical. It's more to highlight how this sort of hopeless, defeatist mentality naturally leads to shitty behavior. I'm thinking that all of it was borne of an absolutely trash theory that has nonetheless became culturally accepted, permeating higher education while turning away from faith-based systems. The pursuit of truth and meaning has never been limited to these structures (secular education-as-truth-seeking and/or faith-as-purpose), but for all of human history, they have been answers to that higher-order meaning you mentioned. It's not like these systems will go away or die; I am certain they will evolve with the times, as always. My point is, Postmodernism is just a theory, and a poorly-defined one, yet an incredibly insidious one, and I'm disappointed to see that kids on Discord have become addicted to gooning because some fucker in an ivory tower said "truth is relative" and now the justification for hedonism and systemic depression is "muh lived experience, u don't understand".
