There's just gonna be a generation of miserable fucking people coming up to replace the ones that currently dictate over us and it's probably gonna be a even more deranged because there's a chance this is a "true believer" situation since the people involved are as young as they are.
The serial killer panic of the '80s is gonna look like a fucking joke in ~20 years.

I haven't played Genshin since the launch of Sumeru but I don't even remember any indication given by the devs, lore, or promotional material of the game that they'd have brown people for Natlan. The Sumeru scholars that were present before 3.0 were all white and there were no Natlan NPCs. It's just an anime game that uses a mish mash of cultures for inspiration to build a fictional world. Though I do agree that the character designs would benefit from having darker skin for contrast reasons.

Im sure the Chinese game developers are totally going to take advice from a faggot who wears make up and a bunch of black people, many who are fat. Imagine the studio making characters that these people can "relate" to and "see themselves in" hahaha.

There are darker skinned characters in the game already, most of them are from The desert region of Sumeru that used to be it's own nation run by a guy named Deshret that eventually collapsed sometime after he died due to political upheaval and sabotage shit IIRC. Then you have Kaeya who's got "darker skin" but a lot of text saying it's just a tan which makes sense given he's from a very very specific fallen nation that's plot important who's natives and descendants we've seen so far are REALLY pasty.

Aren't all the playable dark skin characters the ones with really shit kits? I enjoyed playing Cyno but I found his damage to be lackluster. I can only think of Cyno and Kaeya being those with a dark complexion, I disliked playing the latter.

Cyno's cool but he's got a weird gimmick with his special abilties that doesn't always seem to kick in when it should. Wish I had him unlocked but I've only really been able to play as him during either demos or story quest events that let you play as other characters. Kaeya's fine IMO but really plain due to being one of the first playable characters made for the game.

i have no idea what makes genshin so popular. it's just a fairy tale soap opera. the sandbox is massive and empty and no character is persistent. i get why it's a game and not a tv series: so the chinks can drain money out of terminal tumblrites and fujoshi, but man am i not convinced that there's much value in "pulling" a character in-game because they use the same fucking models and faces for everyone. more power to the commie devs i guess, since they've basically won the lottery when it comes to these assembly line coomerbait 'services'.

I used to be upset that the gacha game I play never got an “official” international release because it obviously made the non-jp community much smaller, but I’ve come to realize it was a blessing in disguise.
One of the handful of POC characters in it is named Jamil and he refers to you as “master,” which did catch me off-guard the first time lol
Not my screenshot, idk why it’s so blurry.
