The way some people have hyped this movie it could be nothing but three hours of the Ghostbusters farting on the ghosts of 9/11 victims while making racist jokes and they'd still call it a modern classic.

I'd actually pay to see that movie, and I can guarantee it'd be better than the one they actually made tho

"Is ghostbusters really a franchise?"
Ah... so that's why he's a lolcow. Never watched any of his stuff and the occassional tweet I see makes him look like a complete moron, but I had no idea he'd be an idiot of such magnificent proportions.
All of MovieBob's proportions are magnificent.

Neogaf is desperate for RT to approve their opinions with a stamp:

Another positive, up to 85 reviews now. Press the button, Stamper.

That has absolutely zilch to do with it.

"Top" critics are no different than any other to me, they may write better or be more knowledged or whatever, but they still just have opinions like anyone else.

All this while two pages of bitching about James Rolfe being a child for expressing his opinions in public in a polite way.

Once the film gets released, it's possible the average ratings among critics will drop. If I recall correctly, Hardcore Henry did well critically and commercially in Russia, but when it was released domestically, the reviews plummeted and it bombed at U.S. theaters. It's too early to be salty if the film fails or succeeds, really.

You know, I'm kind of confused by all the people saying that "It's for little girls." Isn't it PG-13? A little girl shouldn't be seeing it.

Because girls need heroes. :stress:

(Never mind that all that other stuff us just as much hers as it his)

That's at least 3 idiotic and self-serving theories balled up into a hypercube of autism. Nice find.

I guess you didn't get the memo... Women - with their inferior brain capacities and their inability to cope with even the slightest bit of resistance - are dependent on being served easy to swallow pre-defined non-oppressive media where women are always treated like princesses. They can't be expeted to do the unthinkable and root for male heroes or even worse: aspire to become like them.

Anyway, this is how you support women, right? Cause, y'know, when I read some of the stuff self-declared feminists write, that's pretty much the image I get:
Women are not able to deal with anything ever, so the world has to built itself around mollcoddling them. Also, it's unthinkable for a girl to identify with a male character in any way - seeing how they and all their abilities are solely defined by their gender.

So supportive!

I mean, the film may not be that bad but when you act as retarded as the paranoid MRAs you hate, it truly looks like you are caring about the most superficial aspects of society to even make a dent.

To be fair, anything with a little violence and a few swear words get slapped with a PG-13 rating these days. Lots of modern movies with a huge kid demographic (like the Marvel Universe films and the new Star Wars) are rated PG-13.
