I believe at one point he tried to call Count Dankula antisemetic for talking about the ADL lmao, and that resulted in a back-and-forth. Later on, AntisemetismCow quit in dramatic fashion, making a Twitter thread saying how horrible and awful it was that Jack Dorsey allowed Nazis on his platform.


And of course I can't find it now, but I distinctly remember there being a SemetismCow that followed this debacle that would "MOO!" at who you'd expect of someone with that @. This one pissed a lot of people off, so I'm not surprised I can't find it lol

I follow a few gimmick accounts on twitter because some of the posts are informative or funny to me. However, what made me hyper critical of them aside from Women Posting Ls and Ws was the nonstandard McDonalds account (owner here). Back during Jan 6th, they broke the gimmick to grandstand about the coup. I'll find more soon when i get back because most gimmick accounts i assume people forget to swap over to their mains or something. Its not hard to keep a gimmick account a gimmick.

Recently unfollowed nonstandard McDonalds because they've decided to start shilling their GFM for going and documenting nonstandard McDonalds locations in Florida. They've made so much that they're even gonna have some guest hosts like......Quinton Reviews!

I've been following that account from the beginning and never once listened to his "MKUltra Money" podcast. Like lol I'm not taking financial advice from a guy who runs a gimmick account for reposting onlyfans thots. That podcast exists just to sell his shitty T-shirts, not to make me "actually rich" with some amazing secret advice. Anyone who buys into that probably also falls for MLMs.

Back when he was doing the Bad Movie Takes account I tried his podcast where he defends bad movies and hopped around in a few different episodes because it was legitimately one of the worst things I had ever heard, maybe because I don't listen to lots of podcasts. It wasn't fun defenses of bad movies, it was another "shitty twenty-something dudes from NY sit around and just hang and talk about whatever and hope we can be cumtown." (They legit at one point talked about how they wanted to be like cumtown) I didn't even make it through a full episode, most of it was pointless bullshit and when they did finally talk about movies it was almost as asinine as every other part of the podcast.

God, that's pathetic...Sums up most of these retards who try to launch a podcast off of Twitter. Their egos get too big just because they made some gimmick accounts that swing on the lowest-hanging-fruit available. The podcasts always suck, you can just tell they haven't actually studied enough of the popular commentary channels to understand pacing, or how to properly ad-lib.

The "posting Ls" community was by far the most insufferable. I liked maybe 1 or 2 of them in the beginning when they were novel and actually posted funny content, but every new iteration of the "posting Ls" gimmick was less and less funny and amounted to nothing more than just screenshots of tweets from people they didn't like. Not to mention that the people running those accounts were all gay losers.

It's invariable that these gimmick accounts break character in the most annoying ways to soapbox, especially during any form of civil unrest. For instance, I used to check on Scrubquotes until they started arguing over some Black Lives Matter thing, or something along the lines of that. I can stomach them showing support, but when I say "arguing," I mean "their only posts in the last two weeks are them yelling at people."

Saved You A Click similarly decides to throw their hat in the ring regarding civil issues for no reason, but they also have a creepy fascination with Daisy from Super Mario Brothers, and regularly reposts fanart of her. In a similar vein, Biden Voters Posting Their L's Online really likes one of the girls from the Evangelion anime, but at least this only manifests in them occasionally sharing fanart now and then. Continuing on this chain, E-Girls Posting Their L's had some sort of drama I barely paid attention to. Something like the account owner was also an e-girl and starting promoting their content, which resulted in them having an absolute meltdown and the account swapping hands. I believe her boyfriend runs it, and he also now shares actual e-girl content in promotion.

You're telling me. I only ever see them in passing and a lot of what I know is second hand, but there is one I do enjoy looking at for the absurdity of it: RightWingCope Coping. Reread that name, because you probably missed it. There's a gimmick account along the lines of "Right Wingers Posting Their L's," but once again they got absorbed into political drama and now this is an account to make fun of that account. Essentially, this is a gimmick account cannibalization, and it's pretty funny. It perfectly encapsulates what not to do when running a gimmick account; more specifically arguing with their viewers, accidentally promoting the content they're against, and soapboxing.

Just remembered one of the worst Gimmick account downfalls of all time. When Twitter was young (late 2000s) somebody made an account LARPing as God. They used to be funny and the screencaps were shared on all the meme sites for tweeting stuff like "ooo don't make me come down there!". It was really popular, however I think they got banned for being a meme account, Twitter was more strict about that back in the day.

Someone else made a new one now that Twitter just does not care anymore, but it's all CNN-tier unfunny bullshit. Obligatory to say: The left cannot meme and they think snark political statements are exactly equal to comedy. Ice cold Democratic party takes do not suddenly become funny if you put them next to a LARP avatar.
