Gimmick accounts have one job, one fucking job, and they can't even get that right. The soapboxes are either ways to avoid being cancelled / ratio'd by Twitter lynch mobs, or the owner actually believes a joke account would solve racism by posting a GFM for a black tranny. I can forgive the former, even though its spineless as fuck. However, the fucking ego you need to have to think your account, which people follow as a joke, would have any impact or influence on changing society is astounding. Imagine if meme accounts posted political statements all the time, save that cancer for your main.

I think the reason for this is because running a gimmick account tends to be a surefire, drop-dead easy way of gaining a following on Twitter. The type of person to willingly run a gimmick account doesn't do it because they think it's good content, they do it because it nets them followers with little to no effort, and the type of person that only seeks a higher follower count isn't the most in-touch with what people want. They think "I have big number, people care about me," when it's really the gimmick that people follow, not the person. Once the account owner comes to the inevitable realization that nobody cares about them or their political opinions, they try to mooch off of their lazy-fame by self-promoting their other shit (unsuccessfully) or engaging in the Twitter tradition of giving money to any black person with a CashApp.

For context, there's an account called Poorly Aged Things/@PoorlyAgedStuff that post content regrugitated on by r/AgedLikeMilk. Because their followers frequently ask for context of a post that they can't google for a few seconds, accounts like Context for Poorly Aged Things/@AgedContext spring up to pigback the more popular account for the attention. The populary of Context for Poorly Aged Things caused copycats (pun intended) to be make and circlejeck among themselves for likes and attention

A lot of these that I see popping up recently are [xyz trope/sexual orientation/etc] of the day, which tend to stir up a weird amount of drama because people get mad that either people are posting their headcanons or that people are posting characters who don't fit the trope in question (e.g., there was one made for posting bears that caught shit for posting dudes who were skinny and not especially hairy).

This was something that happened a little while ago and unfortunately it looks like the account that people got mad at deactivated and was replaced, but it's not the only time I've seen that kind of drama and I'm sure it'll happen again.

TBH that alice tranny is so constantly online I almost wonder if it's a chatbot. I have a friend who worked on that neural robot stuff, one of the brainstorming sessions came up with the idea of making the persona of the bot a desperate, kinda crazy tranny because they noticed that polite company (mainstream at least) treated them with kid gloves. For a time the project he was on went from "how can we make our chat bot seem more human?" to "How can we manipulate people to accept our bot's weirdness?"

It's a schizo theory but Twitter's the domain of marketing and moneymaking. For all I know it's just a trannybot made to grift people by spamming tweets, pushing GFM's, and then ending it in a bang where they beg for burial costs or gash surgery.

Essentially, this is a gimmick account cannibalization, and it's pretty funny. It perfectly encapsulates what not to do when running a gimmick account; more specifically arguing with their viewers, accidentally promoting the content they're against, and soapboxing.
